While we don't advertise pool floats since they can be easily damaged or left behind by previous guests, we understand how they can add to a family vacation and appreciate you sharing your suggestion. Thank you for your review and for bringing this to our attention, as we understand the concern for pets. We agree, The Sandbox is located in a central area with something for everyone! The owner is on a sandspur treatment plan to rectify this issue. Sandspurs are native to the Outer Banks and although we cannot fully prevent any issues caused by them, we do our best to prevent this from impeding on our guests stay.
