Fabulous house

Exceptionally well equipped house and met our needs exactly. Very clean and warm which was needed due to weather being in the minuses. We hired the house due to our daughter getting married in Strasburg.Managed to house 12 adults at varying times of the week very comfortably.Plenty of space to allow us to get ready for the wedding. This perfect house helped to make the week a memorable one for all Many thanks

We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well equipped We really enjoyed the deck and front porch. The location was perfect. We would recommend the property to anyone coming with a group.

Still a 5-star host and property

Property improvements since my previous stay last fall include a new refrigerator and a very convenient keypad on side door into garage. The house is always very clean, but for this stay it seemed exceptionally fresh and clean-smelling. The coffee/tea station continues to be a much-appreciated feature. When I had questions about how to operate a few things in the house, the host responded very quickly that her brother would stop by within two hours. This young man arrived promptly and answered all my questions. He was a real sweetheart, expressing the family’s desire to always provide the best guest experience. Many thanks to the Esh Family!

Lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at this house in Gordonville. Used the fire pit. Played cards at the large kitchen table. Had a good night‘s sleep In the large bedrooms. Even played ping-pong in the garage. In the morning we sat on the front porch to watch the horse and buggies go by - truly a lovely stay!

About the host

Jake and Becky and their children live about half an hour away from this house. We built our cape-cod home in 1990 and lived there until the fall of 2009 when we moved to Honey Brook for mission purposes. Our home is built on an acre of the family farm. The farm, still in the family, is owned by Jake's youngest brother and borders the back of the yard and Jake's parents live next door. Our favorite part of this home is the safe and peaceful neighborhood surrounded by Amish homes and farmland.

Why they chose this property

Nestled in the countryside of Lancaster, we border generational family farmlands. We enjoy the large and peaceful backyard for dinner, games, and just relaxing together. Within minutes to many of Lancaster County's best attractions, it is easy to make short excursions that everyone in the family can enjoy!
