We enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The home is well stocked with a home like feel and many areas to enjoy from relaxing on the front porch or back patio. Property is centrally located and close to many local attractions. We would definitely like to stay again when in the area.

My family enjoyed every minute of our time in this lovely home. The owner was nearby and available if needed. When we return to this area, we will schedule our trip plans to be certain this property is available. We all enjoyed the sound of horses & buggies riding down our street. Great home!! This property was exceptional. This single home was immaculate and fully stocked. Close to all of the Lancaster County attractions but on a quiet country road where you would see horses and buggies passing by daily. A beautiful back yard area with plenty of seating and a nice fire pit. Our group was two couples and our four year old granddaughter. Three bedrooms and two baths suited us perfectly. Highly recommended.

This home is lovely, clean, well appointed, gorgeous landscaping. Location was great for us, in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood, yet close to the places we like to visit. Highly recommend.

While the location is great, privacy is lacking. We stayed for 8 nights and the owner was there all but one. Children were running around outside of house, playing on the front and back sidewalks. Owner lives on premises. Owner was leaf blowing at 9:00 AM. Basement door was slammed multiple times early mornings (5:00 AM). His TV was audible in our living area. Home was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed seeing the Amish buggies passing by.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad you enjoyed the home and the Amish countryside. The owner does live on the premises, but since he works out of town, he is often away for extended periods. It sounds like you happened to be staying while he was home for a few days before heading back out of town. Since he does not have children and our neighbors are all elderly, we’re not sure who the children referenced in the review may have been. We’ve also never had a guest mention an issue with children on the property before, so we were a little surprised to see that. We’re also very mindful of keeping noise to a minimum, and the owner did mention that the basement door accidentally slipped and closed loudly one morning. We’re sorry if any of the noise affected your stay, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention.

The house was just as advertised, only a bit larger than the pics made us think it would be. The location is super-convenient, and they weren’t kidding about Amish carriages coming through regularly! Like others have said, we never heard or encountered the owner, there was no lack of privacy. We were very pleased with the entire experience, and will certainly look to stay again.

Immaculate property in a beautiful, quiet setting. We loved the fire pit conversations and comfortability of everything. Amish buggies passed by all day - and the clean simplicity of the whole house was appreciated - PERFECT for a getaway weekend with friends!

Very quiet, hard to believe that you are just a couple of blocks away from shops and more. Horse and buggies passing by several times a day. Tastefully decorated and well stocked. We did have one small problem with the internet and the hostess came by and communicated with me until it was up and running. Will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Such a beautiful house! Came for a family getaway and could not ask for anywhere better to stay! Very clean and welcoming. Owner was home but he kept to himself, didnt even seem like he was there. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
