The reason behind the offer to reimburse just half is that most receipts do not have dates, and you send multiple receipts for the same items. For example, you want me to reimburse you for the tub of butter 3 times, as you highlighted it on 3 different receipts, same with triple cream brie. You also want me to reimburse you twice for hummus and eggs. And for some items, I don't even know what they are as they are unclear on the receipt. You refused my offer. You were without a fridge for one day; I provided you with another fridge the next morning. I did not break the fridge. The fridge is not old. I have been told by two different repair people(Martin, you met, and Raymond, with Absolute Appliance, who I called after you checked out) that there is a strong possibility this happened because you did not close the freezer door completely and left for the whole day. The evaporator motor overheated. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced that day and for the food you lost. I did everything I could to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. I am reimbursing you half of the loss you claim you had, even though I believe it was less than that. Regarding the hot water issue, I lived there for over two years, and numerous people stayed here with me or without, and nobody ever complained about the water temperature. I know it takes a little bit of waiting to get it hot, but it is hot. Nevertheless, I did send a handyman to adjust it for your convenience. However, you left a house so messy that my cleaning people refused to clean it. I had to hire someone else to do a deep cleaning. I should have asked them to take pictures.
