Located in Oak Harbor, this holiday home is near the beach. Whidbey Playhouse and Garry Oak Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Jolly Mon Charters and Anacortes Museum and Maritime Heritage Center. Travelling with kids? Consider Tulip Town and Childhood Bliss. Kayaking and power boating offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and hunting nearby.
This house was amazing! I wish we could have stayed longer. I can’t think of anything that the house lacked.I highly recommend the Goose Neck trail a few minutes away; tough, but worth it.
This place was idyllic if you are gathering with a large group. Plenty of space and thoughtful touches. Close to many beautiful beaches and the club house and play structure on the property were a big hit! Not to mention the many deer and rabbits that came through the back yard.
Lots of room for a family or just a girls get-away. Quiet area with wildlife passing thru. Especially liked the entry way which had ample room to place all the items you brought from home. Would defiantly like to visit again!
Our stay exceeded all expectations! The home was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals. The location couldn’t have been better, and the owner was incredibly responsive and helpful with all our requests. Bonus it’s pet friendly and has a great yard. We highly recommend staying in this lovely home.

This place made our trip magical:) Beautiful views, close to adventures, and unique. Our family would definitely go again. Calm, inviting, clean, and it had everything!
The house was clean, well equipped, and as described in the listing. We found it to be very comfortable for our group of seven family members. We liked the location and communication with the owner was excellent. We definitely would recommend this home to others.

Such a great place to stay. Beautiful surroundings. Wonderful accommodations. Clean. Comfortable. And so well organized and equipped. It had everything we needed and wanted It could’ve used a grill but no big deal. We all loved it.
Perfect house for a family get away. Living space had a spot for everyone to do what they liked; puzzles, reading, playing cards and listening to music. Beautifully decorated and comfortable furniture and beds. Perfect distance to great hikes. Host was responsive and pleasant.
The only thing I have to say is it needs a new coffee pot and more pans or at least a griddle to cook pancakes. Other then that it was a very nice house.
This is a lovely home with everything that we needed. Very comfortable, very scenic, well furnished. We were a very small group, there’s plenty of space for two families. Small fenced dog area right outside the front door was very convenient for our super senior pup. 2yo enjoyed the views!
We had a lovely two-night stay. The setting is lovely as is the house, which had plenty of room and comfy beds for five adults and the kitchen had what we needed. Both Oak Harbor and Anacortes are easy to get to, as is the state park. On the way home we all took a quick trip to Port Townsend via the ferry (walked on). The baby had a great time; future adventures await.
This house and location were perfect for our family. I knew I wanted to stay on an island but wanted have easy access to other areas such as Anacortes where our whale tour was departing from. The house had everything we needed and my young kids loved the backyard and the deer that visited daily. You have amazing views off the deck, especially the uppermost deck, which isnt in the pictures. I had a couple of questions, which were responded to quickly. It was close to several beach areas, a small grocery store, and a handful of food places. It was the perfect getaway.
We really enjoyed our stay at the forest home. Our crew of 3 couples, a single and an infant were very comfortable. We only had two complaints that are worth mentioning:
1) NO BBQ. We couldn't believe there is not a BBQ at this home.
2) The kitchen is not very well stocked in terms of cooking and prep ware. It was enough, but barely.
We used this as a second venue (mostly overnights) for a reunion of 17 people split between these two nearby homes. This home was welcoming, beautiful, and easy to live in, with a gorgeous view of the bay as well as the forested grounds below. When we ran into a problem our host worked very hard to make it right and all worked out in the end.
We would have liked to have access codes for the garage so we could store bicycles more easily.
This home is beautiful and tucked away in a woody neighborhood. It is spacious and well-appointed. I loved the view from all the balconies. You can see the water amongst all the trees. The home is well-loved and gorgeous. (meaning you can tell that it's not brand new, but that doesn't matter because it's very cool looking) I love that it's not a white and grey box. There were records to play and so many games available. The art on the wall is adorable. I only wish we'd had more time there. It's conveniently located to Deception Pass. It's far enough north of the military base that you aren't bothered by the planes on maneuvers. But we could see them as we drove north through Whidbey if that's something you'd like to see. I'd recommend it to anyone.
