Guest Access:

As our guest, you'll have full access to the entire property, except for a few areas reserved for house supplies. Plus, as part of the Big Bear resort, you can enjoy fantastic community amenities, including:

Parking around Big Bear Resort is generally available, but it can feel a bit tight — kind of like city parking, especially during busier times. Each unit is allowed one parking spot in the lot at the bottom of the hill. The spots aren't assigned, but there's usually enough for everyone staying in the complex.

If you have more than one vehicle, there's "Excess Parking" nearby, plus a few extra spots in front of and behind the condo buildings up the hill. No trailers or motorhomes unless they can fully fit into a standard-sized parking space.

The neighborhood is a fantastic blend of convenience, mountain charm, and resort-style amenities. Located within Big Bear Resort, this area is perfect for those looking to enjoy the best of Pigeon Forge while still having a peaceful retreat in the Smoky.

Getting Around:

The drive is easy — just a half mile off the Parkway in a developed area. Unlike remote cabins with steep, winding roads, this location is much more accessible. The only challenge is a steep switchback at the neighborhood entrance, but most cars handle it fine. In icy conditions, it could be tricky until plows have salted the road.

I wouldve gave 5 but I didnt like the bumping/noise the guest did that stayed over us/upstairs, the upstairs hottub flooded the porch where we couldnt sit outside on the porch. Everytime we left and came back we had to find another parking spot which i didnt like because we had stuff to carry in.

My fiancé and I loved how spacious our cabin was, and particularly enjoyed the king sized bed. Our cabin was right across from the indoor pool which was a great amenity to have along with a hot spa pool. We had a lovely view of the Fall foliage outside our door. We were pretty much in the heart of Pigeon Forge and roughly 20 minutes away from Gatlinburg. It was wonderful to be so close to everything and yet feel like we were tucked away into the mountains.

50 Wedding Anniversary

We were looking for a quiet place to stay without all the hustle and bustle, but convenient with a nice view of the mountains. We rented this one bedroom cabin that was tucked just in the right place but just minutes away from restaurants, shows, etc. It was everything that we needed. We had a very pleasant experience. The host checked in to just important details about our stay and to see if everything met our expectations. Thank you Samuel for making our stay memorable while we celebrated 50 together.

The property was filthy with mold growing around the tub and stains all over the carpets. The “fireplace” is electric and bangs against the wall every time there is a breeze. Owner did offer to come clean but we were too disgusted to stay.

Bedroom carpet filthy. Never been cleaned. Black mold on shower grout. Stains on sofa. You can hear every footstep, door closing and flush from the unit overhead (415). Won’t be back.

The cleanliness of our property is something we take very seriously, and we have thoroughly cleaned the bedroom carpet, addressing any stains and ensuring that it is in pristine condition for our guests. Additionally, we have addressed the black mold on the shower grout and have taken steps to prevent its recurrence ⎯ we will talk to our inspector as well to find out why none of these have been reported to us or addressed before your arrival, and we will work with them closely to make sure it won’t happen again. Lastly, we also want to apologize if you felt that the neighbors' noise was disruptive. We have a strict quiet hour policy, and if we had known, we would have been more than happy to remind the other guests to keep the noise down.

Decent little place to stay.

Needs some flooring updates and minor cleaning mainly tub grout and filters. Needs a working light to see going down staircase at night I think light bulb is likely just needing replaced. Sheets for the pullout couch are needed. Host was super nice and responsive and sent us the things we asked for plus some snacks. Pool and hot tub indoors is currently being fixed July 31,2024. Outdoor pool and hot tub was functional. Overall, I was not disappointed. It met our needs and we were not there much as we were gone exploring and doing things. We cooked spaghetti and found everything we needed to cook and kitchen was clean. Hooks in the bathroom would be a good add.

Not impressed at all.

Had to walk down 20 steps with loose handrails. Hard to find the room. Carpet stained. Headboard dusty. Nothing to show TV guide. Couch was broke down and tilted forward. No hair dryer and had to use my bipap to blow dry hair till got to Walmart to buy one. Never stayed at a place from VRBO before like this one.

We would have happily sent maintenance over back to check the issue or guide you on how to easily locate the unit if you're having trouble finding it - but we didn't know until after you already check out and left us a review. It's hard for us to immediately fix an issue if we don't know if it exists, especially when we’ve never had an issue like this before.

We chose this neighborhood because it's right in the heart of Pigeon Forge, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxed. It's in a super convenient spot — you're just minutes from all the action on the Parkway, like Dollywood, The Island, and tons of restaurants and shops, but you still get those quiet mountain vibes when you come back to the unit.

What we enjoy most is how easy it is to enjoy both nature and fun. You can wake up and enjoy your coffee on the balcony with the mountain breeze, and then be at a dinner show or riding a coaster in no time. Plus, the resort itself is well-kept and walkable, with great views and a cozy, friendly atmosphere. It’s the best of both worlds!
