Great stay. The bedroom with the loft was fun. Weather was perfect. At that elevation, it seems to stay comfortable in the summer. Host was very responsive to questions. Good location, near Boone, Banner Elk, Sugar Mtn Ski Resort and Valle Crucis.

It is a clean and cozy place for a vacation. It is close to Sugar Mountain Ski resort. It is not far from Boone, NC. It has a loft that is perfect for reading a book. Outside of the house there is a grille, fire pit, and a front deck to sit on to enjoy the outside too. It has a nice living room to watch a ball game in. In closing, the host responded in a very timely fashion.

Family friendly stay. Beautiful spacious home with all of the amenities you may need for a cabin stay in the mountains.Super lovely and cozy home. Close to coffee shops and grocery stores. Would stay again.

Great location. House was functional but meh. Some little things made me not want to rent again. Hair dryer and toaster didn't work. Not enough TP provided. Kitchen layout is awkward. Definitely needs new frying pans. Lower bunk in one room was too low -- bumped my head several times. Lots of cobwebs on the beams.

We strive to provide a comfortable, clean, and well-maintained home for all our guests. In addition to regular cleaning and pest control services, we conduct quarterly deep cleans and property inspections to identify maintenance needs and items requiring replacement. However, issues can arise between these inspections, which is why we encourage guests to let us know of any concerns during their stay so we have the opportunity to address them promptly. Items such as the hair dryer, toaster, frying pans, and toilet paper could have been easily remedied had we been made aware. Upon receiving your feedback, we arranged same-day replacements ahead of our next guest's arrival and followed up with our cleaning team regarding the other concerns. We appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention and remain committed to providing a positive experience for our guests.

Lovely Home, Highly Recommend

We have stayed at a number of houses over the years. The house was done fabulously, cleanliness impeccable, kitchen well stocked. The pillows and mattresses on the beds were very comfortable and allowed for good nights' sleep! We also appreciated that toiletry items (soaps, shampoo, TP, etc.) were provided. Finally, the home owners provided a guide book that was very thorough! The location was excellent. In a private community but only minutes from groceries, etc. We hope we can go in the winter. The house and the proximity to the ski slopes has us won over.
