Main level has shower/tub combo and lower level has a walk-in shower.

The spacious yard features a basketball hoop and a refreshing private swimming pool (open mid-May to mid-September, not heated). Relax in the adjacent pool house, a perfect refuge during those sudden summer showers or to stay cool in the shade. With 4 bedrooms, 2 living areas, decks pool and pool house we enjoyed being together but never feeling crowded or on top of each other. The backyard was so peaceful and included watching wild turkeys and their chicks. We always had a quick response from our host with our few .questions

Summer 2023 family vacation

My family and I traveled to Lake Geneva for a vacation in July 2023. This home was in a great location, it was a quick drive to the downtown area and far enough away to disconnect from the pressures of life. If you are up for it, you can bike the few miles to downtown Lake Geneva or go the other direction for a meal on Lake Como.

Kick off to summer!

We loved the layout of the house. All updated and clean. Loved that it had 2 levels since I had kids with me. Loved the privacy of the property, very spacious yard. The pool house was an instant hit with the kids and a very good idea to have . The location was perfect, between downtown LG and Williams bay, both areas accessible easily. We woulld love to stay here again and will!

House was clean and host provided great recommendations and accommodations.

Overall great property. Very clean and nice accommodations. Unfortunately - the house has a bee infestation that was coming in between the siding/walls on the outside. My son is severely allergic to bees so we had to check out early to avoid the risks. I had sent the property management company an email regarding this but haven’t gotten a response yet.

Had you contacted us prior to leaving early at Midnight, we would have sent our pest control company out immediately to address the issue to ensure the safety of everyone in your party. We have since investigated the situation, and it was not an infestation but a small bees nest near one of the windows, which are common during the summer months in Wisconsin. We have since sprayed the nest and removed it from the siding near the exterior window. We are happy you enjoyed the interior of the property and thank you for the compliment of it being very clean. BUGS in beds, dirty freezing pool

RENTER BEWARE ! We had a two night stay booked. Our draw for this property was the pool. As described, it states it’s maintained weekly with a pool service. That was NOT the case when we arrived. The pool water was green and murky. Could not see the bottom of the pool. Pool floor was slimy and filmy. There was a hose filling the pool with freezing cold well water. It is mentioned in the details it is not heated, however there is a big difference between the ambient temperature and freezing cold well water. We referred to it as “the polar plunge” as the pool was basically unusable. The upstairs shower does not drain and leaves you standing in a bath of filthy water. Lastly and MOST concerning, 6/8 guests left the weekend with multiple bug bites obtained from the beds. One of the guests had her bites examined by an infectious disease doctor and it was determined they are from MITES. I informed the property manager and was basically told the pool water, although green and murky and freezing cold, was still swimmable. Ew. If I had my children there I would NEVER had allowed them in that water. Regarding the bugs, it seems they are not taking any responsibility for that either. SO RENTER BEWARE. DO BETTER.

Hi Danielle, We take all guest feedback very seriously, but we feel it’s necessary to address the inaccuracies and false claims in your review. We do not tolerate dishonesty, and we want to clarify the facts of your stay. Bug Concerns: You claimed there were bugs in the beds, yet after your stay, we had our pest control company conduct a thorough inspection of the property. Their report confirms that there is absolutely no evidence of bed bugs, mites, or any other pests in the home. We even provided you with the report and their contact information. There have been local reports of cicadas earlier in the summer, which may have led to the presence of mites from the eggs they laid. However, these mites are found outdoors, and we have no control over what insects may bite you while you’re outside. Making false claims about bugs in the property is unacceptable. Pool Condition: We provided you with a free early check-in, and as a result, the hose was still filling the pool due to an unexpected emergency patch repair that had to be completed. The pool is professionally cleaned on a weekly basis, and the service team even returned to turn off the hose. However, you turned them away, stating that you had already handled it. Despite the water being cold but safe to swim in, we offered a refund as a gesture of goodwill for this inconvenience. Misrepresenting the situation about the pool being unsafe and dirty is not tolerated. The listing description clearly states that the pool is not heated, and cold pool temperatures should be expected this time of year, especially with cooler nighttime temperatures in mid-September. Shower Curtain Rod & Drain: The shower curtain rod was fully intact upon your arrival, as confirmed by our pre-inspection photos. After your stay, we found that you had broken the shower curtain rod and left the curtain soaking wet in the tub. If you had informed us during your stay, we could have easily replaced it or left a new one at the door without entering the property. Additionally, our post-stay inspection confirmed that the shower drain was functioning properly with no standing water. Falsely claiming these issues after your stay, without giving us the chance to confirm or remedy them, is misleading. Blackmail: You also threatened a negative review unless we compensated you. This type of behavior, implying that we must pay to avoid a bad review, is unacceptable and borders on blackmail, which we do not tolerate. None of these alleged issues were reported until after your departure, which significantly limited our ability to address them in a timely manner—something we would have been happy to do. We stand by our commitment to providing a clean, well-maintained property for all of our guests and hope this response provides future guests with a clearer understanding of the real situation. Great property

This was a great property for a weekend get-away with my family. There was a pool and swing set, which made entertaining the kids easy. The house is recently remodeled, and there was a great kitchen/living room area. We were all able to enjoy meals together, and the layout of the living room was great to watch movies on the couch together at night. The property is only a short drive away from the main town area ~5 min. I would recommend staying at this property! I already want to book this property for an adult get away weekend with our friends. Fun for all ages!

Lake Geneva get away.

The property was just as nice as it looked in the pictures. Looked to be very recently remodeled. The grand kids really enjoyed the pool and so did I. No complaints at all about the property and we enjoyed our stay.
