House is flea, spider infested. Had bites on legs on first night. Bought foggers to take care of it.

Thank you for your review. We respectfully disagree with your statements, as they do not reflect the condition of our home or the experience of all the prior guests. We have never received any reports of fleas or spider infestations, and our cleaning team, who services the home after each stay, has not observed any such issues. A situation of that nature would have been identified and addressed promptly.
You mentioned experiencing this on your first night, however we were not notified on that day , which limited our ability to inspect or assist at the time.
We take the cleanliness and upkeep of our property seriously and maintain consistent standards for every guest.Based on our records and the feedback we have received over time, the claims in this review are not supported by the actual condition of the property.

Not the hustle and bustle of urban Florida, or the crazy pace of the tourist areas, just a slice of farm country heaven, minutes from shopping, hiking trails, and a variety of nearby attractions. One of the best places we've ever stayed, anywhere.
This is a lovely place to stay, great location, close to town, tremendously wonderful owners who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great experience and would go back there if in that area.

We used this stay for lodging during a hunting trip. This was an excellent clean property in close proximity to both town and the national wildlife refuge. The property was clean and easy to access. Lamiya was very responsive and easy to speak with for any questions we had prior to the stay.

Great location. My dogs loved running around the property. Clean and well appointed. The snacks were a nice touch. My only negative was the mattress on the bed was too soft.

They thought of everything! Including treats for our pup! Plenty of linens, towels, pillows, etc. She was really good with communication. It was a quiet and peaceful farm.

Had a nice quiet, relaxing time, but need curtains on the back door and curtains on the kitchen window. Sun is too bright in the morning but beautiful.

Thank you for your feedback! I’m glad you had a quiet and relaxing stay and enjoyed the space. I appreciate you mentioning the curtains as well—those have now been installed to help with the morning light while still keeping the bright, beautiful feel. Thankyou !
The location was great for visiting all of the Springs in the area. We brought our bikes and kayaks and every place we wanted to go was within 15 minutes of this home. Lamiya was a wonderful host, as she gave us a farm tour and we were able to feed the goats and chickens. She also left us yummy snacks for our stay. We enjoyed having coffee on the picnic table each morning to watch the sunrise and we used the fire pit under the stars one of the nights.

Thankyou for being Great guests Eric and Cherie !
This place was in a good location, we pulled our motorcycle down to Chiefland and spent two weeks here, we would ride to all the small towns on the gulf and each had nice scenic restaurants to eat lunch at. We bought fresh seafood and brought it back to the house to fix for our supper. The kitchen had all the dishes and pans we needed as well as basic spices. Bed was ok and bathroom ok, plenty of room for us and a nice front porch to read on. I would recommend this house and it’s peaceful setting.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It sounds like you made the most of your time exploring the area on your motorcycle and enjoying the local towns and seafood. I’m glad the home had everything you needed for your stay and that you were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting and front porch. You were wonderful guests, and I truly appreciate your recommendation. You’re always welcome back anytime!
The property was just as descibed in the listing. There are several springs in the area, to visit which are very close by. Although in the country, Walmart/Winn Dixie are less than ten minutes away. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets are easily seen from the property. I got to see a thunderstorm in the distance, one evening I was there. Lamiya thought of everything, for her guests. She had a snack basket filled with goodies for me, and even a bag of treats for my pups. In the frig, was more - milk, eggs, veggie tray, and meat/cracker tray. Plus, she had a package of small boxes of cereal available. Hurricane Idalia hit a few weeks prior to my visit, so a lot of the trails at some of the parks were closed. The farm was quiet, peaceful and tranquil. I missed the farm tour upon my arrival, due to unforseen circumstances. I could hear the roosters crowing, as I enjoyed my hot tea at the picnic table out back in the mornings. Lamiya was very easy to communicate with, and I would love to come back fot a visit.
