Perfect little nest for a getaway alone or with your better half. Ricardo’s place is nice, clean, comfortable and very much as advertised. The location is excellent, on the golf course, very near the beach and south coast restaurants. The host was easy to contact and quick to communicate. If I had to suggest any improvements it’d be the lighting (all light bulbs are incandescent white) and the fact that the mattress, while very comfortable, is uneven: one side sinks more than the other. I look fwd to staying there again.

Good location

Well stocked property. Could use some paper towels and more toilet paper. Balcony is great for morning coffee and monkey watching. Short drive takes you everywhere. Saint Lawrence Gap, Oistins fish fry and Carlisle Bay are all short drives away. Comfortable bed and nice shower.

All you need

The apartment is smallish, but has everything you need. The location is great - close to beaches and restaurants - but I would recommend renting a car if only to see the rest of the island. The host, Ricardo, was extremely helpful.

The perfect 20 days in Barbados

We had a lovely time in Barbados. The unit worked very well for us. The kitchen was very efficient and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the balcony both in the morning as well end of the afternoon. (Watching the monkeys from our balcony was a great way to start our day!) The pool area was perfect. Being at the golf course was both very relaxing and also convenient. Both the grocery store and buses were less than a ten minute walk. It was just a couple minutes more to walk to the beach.

Rockley golf course Barbados

We enjoyed our stay at Rockley golf course in the lemon arbour area. It was close to the grocery store (7 min walk) close to the beach (15 min walk). The restaurant on the golf course has good food for when we didn’t want to cook. The pool area was clean and was very nice to swim and relax at. We liked getting up and watching the baby monkeys playing just outside our balcony. Because we were staying 3 week it was handy to have washing facilities that we could use. Ricardo was very helpful and quick to respond to any of our questions. Our apartment was very clean, quiet, bright and newly renovated. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking.
