Beautiful house. Wonderful service. Incredible views

We spent one of the most relaxing weeks in beautiful Villa Mara. The checkin process and overall service were excellent. Very much looking forward to going back in the future.

Wonderful view

The house was very nice, a lot off rooms, small nice spaces outside and inside. Beautiful terraces and great salt water pool. Perfect for a family of 8 people. The view was really wonderful Contact with Jens and Heidi was very satisfying

Amazing location

We've just had lovely holiday staying at Villa Mara. The property is incredible and just as described. The views from the villa are amazing and something we will never forget. The villa itself is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Jens met us at the property on arrival and was very helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the area and is an easy drive to Tavira which is one of our favourite places. We would highly recommend this property.

The hidden gem

Outstanding house, with stunning panoramic views on Olhao & the ocean. Calm area. All the facilities and equipment are very well maintained, and the house offers all the comfort and practicality you could hope. The decoration inside and outside is of very good taste, with plenty of small agreeable details. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. The pool area is simply perfect and rhe sun exposure is optimum.We will come back!

Vila Mara

We stayed in August. The weather was amazing. The house has panoramic uninterrupted views of the Algarve coast and is a wonderful Vila for families or a large group of friends. It is clean, well equipped and very well looked after. The pool was brilliant. The beds were comfortable and air conditioning in the bedroom was a great benefit. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a future stay.

Super property with wow factor!

Beautiful villa definitely has the wow factor. Modern and clean. Views are amazing. Spacious and has everything you need. Only a very minor negative is the staircase from the main house to the pool they need to be carefully negotiated!! The pool area is large and plenty of seating/sunloungers. Suggest footwear is worn around the pool as it’s a little gritty underfoot. The garden is very pretty although we didn’t really use it. Massive driveway. All very private and safe. We’ve had a wonderful time and would thoroughly recommend.

Perfect Location

Nestled up on the hills above Faro, Villa Mara is nice and secluded with a fantastic view of Faro, Olhao and the islands. It faces south but a roof terrace means you can catch evening sunsets. There was an impressive super moon whilst we were there. As it’s up on the hills, it does get some wind which is really refreshing. Villa is a good size with plenty of lounging space inside and out and a lovely, well kept garden. Pool was great and cleaned by the friendly Linda every Tues. Plenty of places to food shop nearby (Sao Bras de Alportel) - car is a must. Also plenty of towns to visit - Tavira was a favourite but also Loule (for the markets but also the impressive salt mines just out of town) and Carvoeira (for the beach, cliffs and caves). We were able to check in early, which was very kind. Would thoroughly recommend.

Exceptional Property -An Algarve Gem!

One of the best vacations that we've had largely due to our stay at Villa Mara. Spectacular views over Faro and Olhao down to a gleeming ocean below. Set in the hills amongst other luxurious villas birds and nature abound. The owner's father Uli is the most fantastic gardener and was often around. Acres of beautiful plants surround the Villa and there are literally endless tables and chairs and different courtyards and places to have a meal or morning coffee. The Manager, Jens was always there for us if we had a question. He was very accommodating and helpful with suggestions and the notes in the house were very helpful. The house is extremely well thought out. The kitchen well equipped, the beds comfortable, and the sitting areas cosy and fresh. The house was so clean and fresh. We appreciated the air conditioning a lot! The terraces and the pool were stunning and although we traveled alot, we spent every other day around the pool. We had never been in such a beautiful climate. Consistently 28-34, sunny and dry. Unbelievable! Portugese people we met were so nice without exception. Finally, the location was outstanding. Very central in the Algarve and close to Seville. 2 hours. We had such fun. Big thank yous to Jens, Uli and Heidi. We will be back one day soon i hope. Tim and Maria

Alt fungerede!!!Dejlig pool, dejlige omgivelser bla. Petanque bane og flere udeområder man kan sidde.Lækre nye badeværelser og godt køkken det var udstyret med alt hvad man havde behov for. Dejligt at der var rigeligt med glas, tallerken osv. Køkken bærer præg af hjælpsomhed, man har efterladt krydderier, olie, kaffe, opvasketabs osv til kommende lejere. Viser en bolig man som lejer passer på og bidrager til.Wifi virker i alle rum, ligesom det var flere tv kanaler.Indtjeningen og afrejse gik nemt, det samme med kommunikation op til.Kan på det varmeste anbefale

Falls Sie eine sehr gut ausgestattete Villa mit großem Pool suchen, großer Terrasse, ohne nervige Nachbarn, mit weitem Blick vom Berg über die Algarve bis zum Meer, dann sollten Sie nicht weniger als eine Woche buchen. Denn hier könnte man wahrlich eine längere Zeit verweilen um das Leben zu genießen und Kraft und Energie zu tanken.

Stunning views of the Rio Formosa & Faro. Kitchen was well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery & glasses etc. 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms were clean & wonderfully decorated. Living room, dining & terrace were lovely & great viewpoint to watch planes take off & land at Faro airport, although some distance away. Pool & gardens were ideal with plenty of seating areas in & out of the sun. We had a wonderful stay & will definitely be returning.

Das war der schönste Urlaub den wir jemals gemacht haben. Hier ist wirklich nichts zu bemängeln. Es ist einfach alles vorhanden und vor allem, super sauber und das bei der Grösse. Auch der Poolbereich, Waschraum einfach alles perfekt. Der wundervolle Ausblick und die super Lage, haben den Urlaub perfekt gemacht. Die Übergabe vom Schlüssel und die sofortige Hilfsbereitschaft von Herrn Röver waren super klasse. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Tolles Haus mit super Aussicht

Das Haus hat eine zentrale, aber ruhige Lage an der Algarve mit ganz toller Aussicht. Es verfügt über alle erdenklichen Einrichtungsgegenstände. Auch wenn es draußen mal kalt oder regnerisch ist, kann man sich darin wohlfühlen. Die Zusammenarbeit mit der Hausverwaltung war bestens.

Belle villa

Villa conforme au descriptif de l'annonce, spacieuse, tres confortable, agréable une semaine vraiment super je recommande. Vous pouvez y séjourner les yeux fermés. Seul bémols l'accès pour accéder à la villa,compliqué ça grimpe dure et route étroite mais c'est le prix à payer pour avoir une vue imprenable.

wunderschöne Villa mit Weitsicht

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit Allem. Ein wunderschönes Haus mit allem was man so benötigt. Die Organisation von Heidi und Jens war perfekt. Wir haben auch Ulli und Margret kennengelernt, sehr sympathisch und super nett. Kann das Haus nur wärmsten empfehlen, wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und werden wiederkommen.

Ein Traumhaus, in dem es an nichts fehlt.

Alles perfekt. Ein Traumhaus und ein wunderschönes Grundstück mit Boule-Platz, Pool und herrlichem Ausblick auf Land und Meer. Die Hausverwaltung war sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend.
