Enjoy your stay at a countryside mountain house surrounded by serene landscape with family & friends in Clyde, NC. Only 9 minutes away from Lake Junaluska with outdoor pool, kayaking, boat rental, tennis courts. Minutes away from Waynesville downtown and Cataloochee Ski and Sports resort. Enjoy hiking at Maggie Valley, Blue Ridge parkway, Chestnut Mountain park, Great Smokey mountains, Winchester Creek Farm. For a spiritual retreat and yoga visit Sri Somesvara Temple at the top of Mount Soma.

The house includes a spacious deck, outdoor firepit, hammock, covered bar area with Roku TV, coal grill, and a picnic table. On the cold nights, enjoy wood fireplace, ping pong, board games, and a dinner at a large dining table.

High speed reliable internet(220Mbps) available for the guests.

The last 100ft of the drive to the house is on a steep, gravel road.
4WD or AWD recommended in Winter.

We had a great time! Enjoyed the ping pong table. Driveway steep; better to navigate during the day for the first time. We were very comfortable and were able to make great memories together.

Mountain View Getaway

Great property! Close to many things. Good views and fantastic neighbors. The only negative is the steep driveway. It can be challenging if you’re not used to it. We had a trailer with motorcycles and made it work but only with the help from the neighbor with the donkey and goat. Oh yea the donkey and goat are a bonus! They love carrots! The neighbor’s young son also sold us firewood. Very convenient and glad to help him out. Can’t say enough about them. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. The outside bar and fire pit made the evenings a fun time. I would highly recommend this place unless your driving a Corvette or Lamborghini 👍👍👍👍
