The beds were very comfortable. It was a perfect place to stay with our entire family for the Thanksgiving weekend.We were 8min from Clayburn Village where we attended a wedding, 20 min from Taves Family Farm pumpkin Patch, the adult kids went bouldering at a local gym as well as loved The Castle indoor mini golf.

Perfect family get together

The property was so lovely and clean...the only thing was that we didn't really spend much time there as we were busy getting ready for the 90th birthday party and attending it...and we would have loved to just relax there and cook together etc. would love to return one day when we don't have to rush out to other venues!

We were 3 couples staying one night. A beautifully renovated home that was spotless, fresh and spacious. We had both levels, each couple had their own bathroom and the common area was inviting and laid out well. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy of the grounds. Perfect for our Group

Very comfortable and spacious and had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The only thing we couldn't find were dish cloths and dish towels but we made due without. The BBQ was a bit challenging in regard to even heating and may need new elements at some point but it worked well enough. Overall it was a great stay!

Long Weekend Trip

Valentine's property was a spacious home that accommodated 8 adults and 3 children in our party. Effort was made for us to have a nice stay during a heat wave with fans in every room and bedroom (including an AC unit in the main/king bedroom). Valentine was very responsive in addressing our questions and concerns. Having plenty of towels were available and decently stocked kitchens was well appreciated! Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for accommodations for a large group in Abbotsford.

Based on host more than house. Rules were posted everywhere which was a red flag but we were very respectful anyway. Stripped bedding cleaned up etc. My friend put his hand on wall where towel was while pulling on socks in bathroom and his finger went through wall. We were notified of this and admitted responsibility even though we knew that it was likely a patch from before where a towel bar had been. It then escalated quickly to say that the basement couch had separated as well which was impossible as the one person that sat on it the last day was on other side of couch. We had only gone down there because of spots all over upper tv making hard to watch. Then there was concern about couple cases of bottles left over that alcohol consumption had been the problem (found in recycle) All the sudden 5 guys in there 40s are on trial for having a couple beers a day. Anyway was a great fishing trip and unfortunate that this host is trying to tarnish it as we were willing to pay for the hole made by a thumb but not whatever else the host was trying to find.

This review is misleading and does not reflect the true events of this stay. The wall was fully intact prior to check-in, and the guest has already admitted that a member of their group caused the hole and attempted to conceal it using bubble gum. If the damage had been purely accidental, it could have been reported honestly rather than hidden. Regarding the couch, it was in perfect condition before their arrival and clearly damaged afterward. As a hands-on host who personally inspects and cleans after every guest, I take pride in maintaining my property to a high standard. My goal has always been to provide a comfortable, respectful, and transparent hosting experience for all guests.
