We take great pride in providing our guests a clean comfortable home to relax & unwind.
The Sonoran Sea Resort has 3 pools, 1 is heated in the winter, 2 jacuzzi's and we are steps away from the beautiful Sandy Beach with turquoise waters in the Sea of Cortez.
The Sonoran Sea Resort has one of the best restaurants in town on premises and many others within walking distance, BBQ grills, tennis/pickle-ball courts, workout facility and much more.

Always the best views on Sandy Beach

Beautiful condo with all the necessities! The view is breathtaking! Restaurant at Sonoran Sea had an amazing filet and shrimp! Massages on the beach every day, what more can you ask for . Just pack your bags and enjoy !

Family Vacation

We had such a fabulous time! The property was exactly as described. It was charming clean & well stocked. The patio is amazing with such beautiful views. It was smooth checking in & Grace was awesome a communicator from the beginning of booking. She responded to us quickly with any questions we had. Highly recommend! We definitely will be back again.

Great time!

My 18-year-old daughter and I stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. Great place and great location with at least 6 restaurants within a block or two and a pool bar. The condo was very clean, everything in very good condition, a great balcony with beautiful views. Grace responded immediately and was a wonderful host. The beach was great for taking long walks in the mornings, and there are tide pools just out front. We went into town a couple of times to do activities and took a cab without a problem either way, as we did not have a car. We went to a spa, parasailing, and a boat ride during the day. Overall, we had a really great stay and would highly recommend this condo.

Spring break at Rocky Point

We LOVE to go to Rocky Point and stay at any of the resorts on Sandy Beach. This resort has a swim up bar and grill, which is a good and bad thing. It is nice to be able to order food while sitting at the beach. It is not so great when it is a little cooler (during spring break) and the only pool that is heated is connected to the swim up bar. Kids, adults, alcohol, trash all combined in the smaller pool. But we mostly chilled under the fixed umbrellas on the beach and enjoyed the pina coladas, tacos and mangos being sold from the locals, so it was all good. We used to be able to check in early to the resort, not go into the room but get a wrist band and hang out on the beach. When we got there around 1, the resort would not let us check in unless the owner gave permission. They would not even let us in at the gate. So we sat around for a half an hour or longer until the owner gave permission. Super annoying. The room was clean and well put together. It had everything you could ask for, except extra blankets. My teen kids didn't really want to share the full beds in the second bedroom. We should have brought bedding so they could sleep on the couch.

Communication to let me know you plan to arrive early is always helpful. Our security is there to provide a safe place which most our guests really appreciate. I'm glad the situation was resolved within MINUTES once you reached out to me. Thanks for letting me know that blankets were left in the dryer. The furniture in the living room has been replaced with a brand new sofa and loveseat. Pictures coming soon! We encourage guests to sleep in our beds not on the furniture. Perhaps another condo may better suit your needs for your next trip to Rocky Point. Have a nice day!

When my husband Rich and I moved to Arizona from New Jersey, we thought we had given up going down the shore. We soon found out about beautiful Sandy Beach in Puerto Penasco aka Rocky Point, only 3 1/2 hours away from home in the Chandler, AZ. Once we took our first trip down, we were hooked! After years of going to Sandy Beach and staying at every resort, we narrowed down our favorite and bought our dream vacation condo at the Sonoran Sea. We invite you to take a vacation spree at The Sonoran Sea and become one of regular guests.

Unobstructed Ocean front views!
Our Pool Bar Happy Hour specials are Drinks 12-1 pm & 4-5 pm, Taco's 2-3 pm. They also have a great menu. If you choose you can bring your own cooler with drinks/food to the pools, we just ask that you do not bring glass bottles.
We are walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, water activities. Everything you need is right here at The Sonoran Sea.
