Plymouth is home to this cabin. Rumney Rock Climbing and New Hampshire Audubon are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore White Mountain National Forest and Quincy Bog Natural Area. Rhino Bike Works and The Flying Monkey Movie House and Performance Center are also worth visiting.
Went for bike week. Was perfect central location to all the places we wanted to see but yet far enough away from all the busyness

We enjoyed the location of this cabin. It’s in a very peaceful location. Easy drive to hiking and sightseeing. The check-in/check-out process was easy.
With some work and clean up, the cabin itself could be so much more. It’s got great potential.

NH - Plymouth Getaway
This is your basic lake house. The layout of this place leaves one scratching your head somewhat. With a remodel they could cleanup. As a place to relax, fishing, hiking etc doea the trick!
With a few upgrades to the grounds and the cabin this rental would be the BEST! Make sure you bring your own linens, trolling motor for the jon boat if you have one. The grill needs some parts replaced. The grass needed to be cut, but it was not horrible. If you are looking for a great fishing spot and something close to all the White Mountain attractions this is a great place. We had such a wonderful week and we would definitely want to come back.
The cottage was definitely rustic and quaint. We loved the screened porch and the location. Do not expect all conditions to be clean and sanitized, however. For instance, the pillow on the main bed needs to be thrown away as does the mattress cover and some blankets (mold and various stains). You do need to bring your own sheets and towels (not sure it stated this in instructions), but it didn't really help with the 'ick factor ' knowing what was under the sheets. On the positive side, the manager was very responsive and brought us a fan as soon as he could (very appreciated).

We were not told ahead of time that the dryer was not working. We found out after we had washed a load of clothes and I contacted the host. We had to drape clothes everywhere inside the condo just to let them air dry. When we arrived at the condo we found a half eaten piece of toast in one of the bedrooms. The master bathroom tub had a soap scum ring around it. The other bathrooms shower curtain was mildewed bad. And the floors didn’t appear they had been swept or mopped in a while. They were covered in sand and turned your feet black walking on them for just a few minutes. They did send someone to sweep and mop the floors and did have extra towels sent to us a couple of the days since the dryer wasn’t working. I got a call the day before leaving saying they could come fix the dryer so we could wash up our stuff. So after being told that we washed all of our stuff and then they never showed to fix it so we had to take wet clothes home with us.

Mold ridden and dirty accommodations
We were subjective to the reviews. “Needs cleaning” “don’t expect sanitary conditions” figured, ok it’s a rustic cabin… the “bedroom” is a 20 yr old mattress that is in a basement that is moldy, has mildew on the mattresses. A couple of fold out cot/mattresses that are covered in mildew.
Mold was growing on the utensils in the kitchen, under the bathroom sink. The whole of the house was covered in dust/ was dirty. Furniture smelled of mildew.
There was a recently deceased mouse in the bathroom next to the sink that had just started decomposing that we had to clean. We bought a mattress topper and slept on the pull out coach in the living room. The fact that we were expected to sleep in a moldy, damp, cobweb ride. Basement was disheartening. If we were staying longer than a couple of nights, we would have left. The only reason we stayed was due to the fact that we wanted to stay on a lake and mostly likely the substitute “ reasonable accommodations through VRBO would have most likely been a hotel room.
The beach front on the lake needs to be cleaned and raked and general upkeep on the property needs to be done. The stairs or pathway leading to the beach were very unsafe and hugely deteriorated. Would not recommend bringing your family expecting a nice week if these items aren’t addressed.
It is a shame as it is a decent property in a great location but attention to detail needs to be done on the property. For the money, it wasn’t even cleaned before we arrived.
