This is a quaint little house with a beautiful view of the Hood Canal. It is in a quiet neighborhood just off of the highway. The beds are comfortable for a good nights rest.

Nice stay

Property was very clean, and the location was wonderful. The house could use some work; handles on cabinets missing, handles even coming off in our hands and drawers missing slides. Beds are comfy, linens were well-stocked, it was the perfect space for our family of five. With a little TLC this property would be just about perfect.

Our stay in Hoodsport was amazing and the cottage we stayed in was a big hit. It was the perfect space for our family -Mom, Dad, Toddler and Gram. The house was clean with a kitchen well stocked with the necessary pots, dishes and coffee maker etc. Two bathrooms was very convenient. The beds were very comfortable. And the outside space was good– deck, table and chairs and fantastic view. There were Several nice restaurants in the area as well. We used the local beach to kayak. The location was also good for exploring nearby State Parks and several Falls and Beaches for shell and rock hunting. We had a great time!!

A beautiful & restful haven

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here so much. The little town is adorable and has some really great restaurants, the scenery and nearby hiking is incredible, and the house itself is lovely. Everything was very clean and the view of the lake from the back porch is just stunning. We already want to come back!

Beautiful hideaway

This such a nice little hideaway. Perfect for a cozy weekend near Staircase and Hoodsport. I love the laid back decor and the outside deck/patio areas. Plenty of beds and a well equipped kitchen. Was perfect for a hiking base.

Great location for a small group

We stayed with our 3 and 5 year old and the location was great! Close to downtown Hoodsport and Lake Cushman but also our favorite Oyster-collecting beach at Dosewallips State Park is just a 20 minute drive away. The home had everything we needed to cook and relax!

Hiking Weekend

Great location for hiking in the Olympics. View of the Hood Canal is very nice. The house has some quirks and things I’d fix and improve, but can’t beat the location.

Casual house with a view

Friends, here is a great double wide home with a sweet view of Hood Canal. Down around the bend is a small public beach where you can launch a kayak or play with your dog. The owners here have clearly invested in their home to make it comfortable. Beds are firm, dvd movie selection is great. Excellent house for families with kids. The kitchen drawers are wonky but besides that this house is well appointed. Thanks for a great stay!

This was a very comfortable home right above the water with a great view from the deck! We enjoyed every meal sitting on this deck! This home has nice decor and privacy. I will say that several things need to be fixed! I dealt with several kitchen drawers in disrepair and just overall, little things that need attention. Also, some deep cleaning like ceiling fans! Despite these things, we enjoyed our time here.

Relax next to the water

For me and my family this place was perfect. We had a relaxing time waking up with an amazing view of the water. I loved being able to go out during the day and enjoy the area then come back to a comfortable, clean, relaxing home. I am ready for another visit.

Kitchen was beat up and silverware drawer didn't even work! Had to pull it entirely out as drawers below wouldn't work if left in. Overall, the kitchen was a sticky, broken mess. The structure itself and pressed pulp but painted walls were icky. The furniture, floor plan and views however were great!!! Plus the porch was fabulous.
