This is a great place to stay as a hunting camp and headquarters. Not exactly spic and span clean, but doable for a bunch of guys. Set up for hunters tho.
Great location for hunting or fishing trip. Basic farmhouse with lots of indoor and outdoor space. Highly recommended for your hunting or fishing base camp.
My group had a fantastic stay here. Randy was very friendly and communicated very well with us. Fantastic hunting and fishing are just miles away. 10 out of 10 would recommend staying here.
Wondeful place all you need for a great fishing trip!
The property has everything you need for a fishing trip with many extras. The host is a great guy with a lot of knowledge of the lakes& fishing. Very affordable& comfortable place to stay
Great place to stay! Big chest freezer and well equipped kitchen. Convenient location just outside town and perfectly situated to fish lakes such as Waubay, Hazelton, Opitz or even Roy. Would definitely be willing to stay there again.
The property worked well for our small group. Everything was adequately furnished. Plenty of room for boat parking and an outside fish cleaning station.
We enjoyed this property. Secluded yet accessible. Plenty of truck and boat parking. Great place to come cook dinner and sleep after all day fishing. The shower was the only downfall.
Stayed for 4 nights. fished Waubay and Bitter lakes. Access to Waubay boat ramps is about 12 miles to Grenville and Kanago Ramps. both are good boat ramps.

Unclean Mold
Awful mold smell, very unclean, dirty place. Beds and couch literally wet from humidity,. Had to leave late at night and book a motel.

humidity
The property is older, and comes with older house features. Things aren’t perfect, but they’re well thought out. If you’re afraid of a little bit of dust and dirt this isn’t the house for you. Overall the property was clean. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes you might need. Access to a large freezer. The beds were comfortable. This home provided a great place to stay for a group of friends with their dogs. We did have a few inconveniences like the dryer not working and the furnace not working, but the host was responsive and addressed the concerns immediately. Both issues were thankfully resolved by the end of our stay.
Location was great for hunting Duck, Geese, Pheasant, etc. Owner shared duck/geese location with us to ensure we had a great hunting experience.
House is old, which was not a negative issue. Love old homes. However, not sure why there is a charge for cleaning as its obvious there hasn't been a thorough cleaning in years... many years.
If you're there in the winter, the doors, windows, window A/C unit (in the add-on bedroom) allow all the cold air to blow right in. Ceiling tiles of "sitting area" to add-on bedroom are falling through from roof leaksssssss.
There's only one fly swatter there... need to bring several of your own... the buggers easily find their way inside, through the window & door gaps.
But, the location is fantastic if you're a bird hunter, which we all are, and you don't mind ruffing it !!!!
