We’ve stayed at this property several times and really enjoy its charm and location — it’s been a great home base for our visits.A quick tip for future guests who plan to cook: the kitchen is a bit limited on utensils and the pots and pans are older and should be replaced. Knowing this ahead of time makes meal prep much easier! With just a few small updates, this lovely property could be even more convenient and enjoyable.
Great location, 15min drive to downtown dallas, had everything we needed in the kitchen and more than expected, Quite neighborhood. Would stay here again. Thanks
The home was perfect for our party of 4. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the fridge and microwave but it appeared well stocked. Check in and out process was easy. Would stay again if in Dallas.
Such a great little gem. We stayed for our kids events but the house was perfect, better than I could have ever expected. Fully renovated, the neighborhood was SILENT! I really couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. It was just great. I would definitely stay here again! They also had coffee with everything needed for a great morning!
House was very nice. Driveway for parking which is great as the street is narrow. Quiet neighborhood. Property managers were very quick with responses to questions we had. Only negative and it was not a huge one was the lack wash cloths and hand towels. Comfortable beds and great showers.
The pictures for this rental are accurate. The house was very comfortable for the four of us. The beds were very good, no sagging. We loved the convenience of the property to nearby highways as we traveled to Forth Worth, Waco, and Arlington. Downtown Dallas wasn’t far, about 15 minutes on a Saturday. The neighborhood was residential and very quiet. Lots of restaurants in the Bishop Arts District which is 5-8 minutes drive away. Host was very responsive and checked in with us several time.

2nd Time Staying here
We like to stay in this house because it’s close to our daughter. The neighborhood is quiet. The house is nice. I would suggest having more bath towels, kitchen towels, and updated pots and pans (there is only one small pot and one larger pot). I was told they had a high chair we could use, but then told us we needed to rent one so that was a little disappointing . Customer service a good. I’m sure we will be back.
The property was clean and was exactly like the pictures. What mattered the most to me was when I ran into a unforseen situation with my friend that put me in a bad bad situation. I called and they returned my call within 5mins with a solution that was suitable for both parties. I will always book with them for any trip. Thanks again for your understanding.

Pictures don’t accurately reflect the current wear and tear. VRBO Support indicated this property has back to-back bookings and it shows. The property should go offline so repairs and paint can be done. The towels are in need of replacement. The weather wasn’t great but the house has great HVAC so that was nice.
My friend and I needed a place between Dallas and Midlothian so we chose this home. I think what impressed most was how comfortable it was and that there were two bathrooms . (The water pressure was great!). Everything was really clean. It’s a cozy place. I would say that if you want to cook anything in the kitchen, beware that it is super minimal. Very basic for cooking. Also, watch your step DOWN into the laundry room.
I would totally stay here again . It’s really quiet as well.

Great House but….
I would have liked to give this 5 stars, but there were hiccups. I won’t go into details because I think some of the hiccups weren’t the owners fault. PROS: The house was nice and clean. The neighborhood was friendly. All the appliances were super nice and worked great. CONS: It needed some updated cookware. It would also be nice to have some kitchen towels if paper towels aren’t provided and maybe a cleaner of some kind to clean the kitchen counters with after cooking. Would we stay here again? Absolutely.

Not a safe stay
This property was not at all what was expected. The only clean item was the kitchen. The guest shower handle fell off, same bathroom had toilet that was not locked in - master bath the same. Walls were filthy with dirty fingerprints. attic rope was hanging from attic access, coffee pot did not work effectively. Linen on beds were gritty. Towels left for us to use had bleach stains. Biggest issue was safety of location gunshots were outside of our home on our last nite of stay and was verified by the citizen app which we were checking. Additionally none of these issues when addressed with mgr were acknowledged except send photos. We could not do proper search on address as the address was sent to us on day of arrival- outside cancellation time. We will file formal complaint . Over drive was nervous for us as he walked us to our door to make sure we got in safely. This does not meet VRBO safety property listing. I have used VRBO several times and this is the first time I felt nervous and scared for our stay. We left early the next morning . I am seeking resolution. Especially since they made us pay a property damage fee and for cleaning services.

Guest violated our house rules and is now writing this review for retaliation and has extorted us saying if we didn’t refund them after their violations they will write a poor review, thus here we are. Host beware this guest who will become vindictive if they don’t get their way
