In the south of Crete near Triopetra, with sweeping views of the Libyan Sea, stands the Petra Mare property with pool on a large lawned plot. The name ‘Stone Sea’ refers to the main components of the property. Two solidly built semi-detached stone houses, another stone house with two flats and a detached house with a shared pool and wonderful sea views make up this beautiful property.

The Petra Mare semi-detached houses are located approx. 10 metres apart, approx. 40 to 60 metres from the two-storey stone house and another detached house at the edge of the plot. Each Petra Mare semi-detached house consists of a larger and a smaller half. A large, enclosed, flat lawn and garden plot, overgrown with trees and plants of the Cretan flora surrounds the beautiful Petra Mare property. The approx. 50sqm large, oval and shared pool (approx. 5 x 10m and 1.20 to 1.80m deep, not heatable, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) with sun loungers and parasols offers its small and large guests enjoyable bathing fun, relaxation and refreshment on some hot days.

The functionally furnished semi-detached house Petra Mare 1, is slightly offset, directly adjacent to the two-storey semi-detached house Petra Mare 2, is built at ground level, with a covered, wind-protected entrance terrace and a split-level open-plan living room and bedroom with adjoining kitchen area. The open-plan bedroom and bathroom are approx. 4 steps higher, separated from the small living area by an approx. 80 cm high wall. Direct access to the surrounding ground-level terrace, the garden and the pool.

What awaits you in this corner of the south coast of Crete is peace, seclusion, a Mediterranean, rural idyll, a charming coastal landscape, great sandy beaches and a very clean sea.
The nearest village, Akoumia, is approx. 10 km away and Spili, where you will find a wide range of shops, is just under 20 km away. There are several tavernas directly on the large Triopetra or small Triopetra beach, approx. 2km to 2.5km from the Petra Mare houses.

Zunächst einmal muss ich betonen, dass die Lage einfach traumhaft ist. Die Gastgeber sind äußerst freundlich, und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Während unseres Aufenthalts gab es wirklich nichts zu beanstanden.

Sehr schöne Wohnung, alles ist wie beschrieben und der Pool ist sogar größer als auf den Fotos. Gute Sauberkeit und absolut zufriedenstellende Räume. Die Strände sind wirklich nah, es dauert 5/10 Minuten mit dem Auto, um sie zu erreichen Das einzige Problem ist, dass das Haus steht ein wenig isoliert ist, aber ich denke, es ist klar, wenn man bucht. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Diese Wohnung best..

Die Lage ist traumhaft. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Diese Wohnung besteht aus 2 Ebenen, daher hat man den Eindruck, dass es 2 Zimmer sind. Die Möbelierung ist sparsam aber ausreichend. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung der Kücher erfüllt ihren Zweck. Genügend Schrankraum, ein großer Kühlschrank mit TK-Fach sowie ein E-Herd mit Backofen erlauben auch, bei Bedarf mal selbst eine Mahlzeit zuzubereiten. Die vorhandene Waschmaschine ist besonders bei längerem Aufenthalt von Vorteil!

Nach wie vor fühlten wir uns sehr wohl in PETRA MARE - wenn nicht die neue 'Flutlicht'-Beleuchtung wäre. Mit Sternegucken wurde es dadurch schwierig. Auch die neue Ausleuchtung des Schlafzimmers von Wohnung 1 hat uns gar nicht gefallen. Ansonsten ist diese Anlage sehr schön und ruhig und bestens zu empfehlen. Die neue Ausleuchtung der Anlage durch mehrere Kaltlichtstrahler, die wahllos die Gegend unangenehm erhellen, sollte unbedingt zurückgenommen werden. Dadurch verliert das Domizil sehr viel an dem bislang gewohnten Charm. Die bisher vorhandene Ausleuchtung des Fahrweges war völlig ausreichend.
