My family and I had a great experience during our stay. The house was spacious and very clean. No complaints about the property. Brett was very quick to communicate and I loved their welcome home package detailing everything about our stay and surrounding area.

The home was a neat old place that reminded me of my Grandma’s home with some great upgrades. It had everything we needed and was close to everything we wanted to see in the area. What we appreciated most about the place was how clean it was. Highly recommended and we will probably return in the future.

Check in, bed room size, living room, lkitchen, and laundry were great. Would like to have dressers in the rooms. There are actually only 1 & 1/2 baths. 1 full upstairs and a half downstairs shared with the laundry. Neither bathroom had a working lock. If you sit on the upstairs toilet, your leg/hip touches the roof drain pipe. The shower would only dispense super hot water. When I reported it during the stay, it took almost a day to get a response from the host, but nothing was done to resolve it. With some improvements, this would be a great place.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Check-in was simple, especially perfect for a late arrival. The large kitchen and living room were perfect for our group to relax and enjoy some time together. Bedroom arrangements upstairs provided space and needed privacy. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Wonderful place to stay

The house was perfect for us; we traveled to Palmyra to visit with local friends and experience the solar ecplise. The house was clean and well stocked. We loved the size of the kitchen; the table was a a great place for all of us to gather and play card games. We highly recommend Pleasant Place.

Clean space, spacious and cute rooms and kitchen. Lovely yard, porch and neighborhood. However a little too much charm with low water pressure and doors, drawers and cabinets that are hard to open and close and do not lock. Hosts great at communicating.

We were in town for a family funeral and needed a last minute rental that included our dog. This property was easy to access, clean and well stocked with kitchen items. The living area was comfortable and bedrooms are large and feel modern with the accessories. As stated in the listing there’s only 1 full bath so maybe bring a makeup mirror to free up the shower for someone else. The only downfall, the front yard is dirt/mud. There is no access to the backyard from inside the house so we had to strategically get the dog into the back yard thru the mud.

Such a cute place

We loved our stay at Pleasant Place. It’s been well taken care of updated. The water is a little tricky. There’s plenty of hot water but as she mentioned, you have to take turns with dishwasher washer or showering, but that was all communicated and turned out fine. I would definitely recommend this place. It was perfect for our family if 6

Excellent Vacation Home

We loved our stay at this home in Palmyra. It was a perfect fit for our family. It's central location helped us visit many attractions in the area. The owners were extremely attentive and their quick responses to any questions were very timely and helpful. The property was clean, attractive, and well cared for. The A/C in the bedrooms was very helpful in the heat of July. I would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
