Stovall #1 4.5mi to Augusta National & walkable downtown!
The historic Stovall-Barnes House is a short walk from the Savannah River, the medical district, the Cyber Center, and many of the city's most dynamic entertainment venues, restaurants, and museums. This charming home retained some of the original wood floors, mantels, windows, and moldings and boasts 12' ceilings. The new modern kitchen includes granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Includes stackable w/d, smart TVs, wifi, plush linens, and gated off-street parking. When you enter the gated parking area in the back of the home, you will see a beautiful outdoor common space that has a masonry fireplace, a gas grill and a covered seating area. When you enter the back door of the building, you come into a grand common foyer with a beautiful, original staircase. The foyer gives way to 4 individual private apartment units that are completely separated from each other. Each unit hosts it's own living space, kitchen and bedroom(s) and bathroom(s). This unit is in a building with other VRBO listings. If you are in search of a place to house a large group for a wedding, girls weekend, family reunion or business function, this is an excellent choice. Each unit, however, is it's own separate apartment that is completely private from the other units. Message us for more details and receive the link to book directly.
Potential for Noise: Due to the home’s historic character and close proximity to all the city has to offer, some road noise and music from an adjacent bar may be heard. White-noise machines are provided for your comfort.

Property/home were very clean and comfortable. There is a lot of road noise but to be expected in the downtown area. It's close to everything including the riverfront. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
We traveled to Augusta for a weekend to attend a wedding. The house is located just a couple blocks off Broad Street so it's an easy walk to the bars but it's also a great place to hang out - we loved taking advantage of the record player. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much Carter! Hope to have you back soon!
My brother and I stayed here while our mother was in ICU/hospice care at Piedmont Augusta. The space is comfortable and a quick 2-3 minute drive to the hospital. A great place to stay during a challenging time for our family.
Positives—walking distance to restaurants, nightlife, and riverwalk/museums; easy parking; cute outdoor areas to hang out. Biggest negative would be that it can get a little noisy from the bar next door, traffic, trains, other people staying in the house (it’s all short term rentals), etc.
The house is gorgeous. Huge tall ceilings make each room feel spacious. The backyard is BEAUTIFUL! We hung out there every night. The bar next door can be loud but it was easy enough to tune out and was fun to listen to from the backyard. The communication was very good and the people were extremely nice.
Wonderful stay, beautifully furnished and so cozy! The apartment had everything we needed and was a super convenient walk to downtown for coffee or dinner. The backyard with the outdoor fireplace and cozy lighting was so nice after a day of walking the course. A great friends getaway for a day at Augusta National, we will definitely stay here again next year! There is a nightclub next door, so the only thing I would note is to bring earplugs for when it’s time for bed. Not a big deal, definitely worth staying again!
I did not want my daughter and friend to drive home after the Masters. This VRBO was amazing, great location, and great layout. They were super quick to respond to any questions that we had.
This was a beautifully renovated property not far off the main strip. It was clean and had everything i needed. When i had issues with lock combinations or overly perfumed space they were quick to respond. While it didn’t necessarily seem like a safe place to walk at night it wasn’t a far drive from restaurants and other attractions. There’s also a lot of security which can help you feel safe - me it had the opposite affect making me feel like the area wasn’t safe.
The listing was misleading. The location on the map was not the actual location of the property. The bedroom was basically in the backyard of a nightclub and the music was so loud from 10pm to 2am. The walls have no sound proofing and you can hear everything all the neighbors are doing. Its about a block from restaurants which was nice. The check in process was easy. It took several hours for the host to respond and no real resolution was offered for the listing being wrong. There was a broken soap dish in the shower that can easily cut someone. It was overall not a great experience and we wouldn't stay again.
