This was a spectacular historic house with ample space for 2 couples, a private garden with pool, beautiful and interesting art in every room, and a great location with easy walking to restaurants and shops. It felt very special to stay there. The house is historic, yet well-cared-for. We loved our stay.

The home was absolutely beautiful and fit our needs as a family. A little rough around a few minute edges since obvioulsy an older reno. Pool area was so very nice. Didn't expect main living area to be open air and no AC but we managed just fine. 2 blocks from Paseo Montejo was a treat. A little further to Plaza Principal, but not a big deal. We would book this property again. Daniela the manager would check in periodically and was quick to answer any questions we had.

Comfortable, week-long stay at Casa Cocodrilo. Conveniently close to Paseo Montejo. Spaceous rooms and well equipped kitchen made this an easy choice for us. We had great attention from the manager and would look to rebook in the future. Thank you!

A lovely oasis near the heart of Merida

This property was so unique and beautiful. It's slightly off the beaten path but within walking distance to the central area of Merida. Our group loved the historic home and the awesome pool. The property manager was communicative and helped us with a few minor needs. We would stay here again.

Amazing place!

We loved the main house and both casitas as well. After exploring the city or a day at some ruins it was great to take a dip in the cool pool. Everyone responded to our questions quickly and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent Experience

We were a group of 6 adult women traveling to Merida for one of our friend’s son’s wedding. This villa is extraordinary and our host was so accommodating. This property is so charming and the description provided is truly accurate. We are so thankful for this location and will definitely return.

Lovely colonial

We loved the house and location. Being 84yrs old would have liked a comfortable chair, but that s 84 talkin. Casa cocodrilo was a great introduction to Merida, and we would definitely stay again.

Amazing Stay at Casa Cocodrilo!

We loved Casa Cocodrilo! It was a fabulous location and the property management responded so quickly whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend it! Merida is beautiful...we were able to walk to see everything we wanted and to get ubers very easily to dinners.

Nice Historic Home in Merida's Centro Historico

The time of year that I visited Casa Crocodilo was not ideal. With only the bedrooms having Air Conditioning, the main living area was unbearably hot from 10am until 8pm. I will definitely request to stay there again when the temperatures are cooler. It is a lovely place and Cecilia is a very attentive and cordial host.

Spectacularly beautiful casa

This casa is even more beatuiful than the pictures show. High ceilings, classic architecture, beautifully designed, lush courtyard and well equipped kitchen. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants and shopping. Three comfortable and very private bedrooms. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Merida.

Beautiful Home!

Joyce and I loved our stay in this home! It was bigger than we needed but we are glad we booked this so we could enjoy the large paradise courtyard and nice sized pool. The house was 4 blocks from Paseo Montejo, which has everything you might want, but the courtyard at the house was quiet and peaceful. Mérida is a great city with a lot in common with some of the best mid sized cities in Europe.

Merida Visit

CASA COCODRILO was a great property well equipped with required amenities and centrally located to shopping, restaurants and bars. The property staff were responsive and made the check in check out process easy. Would definitely stay here again. The outdoor terrace and swimming pool are great. Exceeded every expectation

Nothing in life is actually perfect, but Casa Cocrodila was perfect for our needs on our trip to Merida in just about every way. The house itself is large, interesting and extremely well decorated. It really is like living in a home as opposed to a rental. It's very well located - of the numerous trips to Merida we have concluded that one really does need to have a rental car. The manager was responsive friendly and extremely helpful.

Stunning property in ideal location

Our family of 6 stayed at Casa Cocodrilo for three days. The home is stunningly beautiful.- high ceilings, lovely furnishings, well appointed kitchen, and spotlessly clean. There was plenty of room for our whole family. The three bedrooms all have access to their own bathroom which is very convenient. The house is a short walk to the center of town and there’s Kentucky of street parking. We had a great experience! .

Perfect home base in Merida

Our group of 2 parents, 3 kids (6,6,9) and a grandpa all loved this property. It was spotlessly clean and communication with property management was seamless. The place itself is just spectacular, with so much charm and space... the pool and courtyard are an amazing reprieve from the heat and the city! Location was perfect too, we walked all over, felt perfectly safe, and loved having our own oasis to return to. Highly recommend!
