Clean, family friendly, lots of games and beach toys. I don’t think the jets on the hot tub worked correctly, but we weren’t there for the hot tub! Great community with the beach club! Would stay here again.

Great week at the beach

This property was perfect for the family vacation. We didn’t have any issues with the house and it was as advertised. It was a quick walk to the beach and we went to the community pool several times. Great location.

Nice vacation house.

We had a good time at the beach house. The beach was just a short walk away, which was super helpful for kids to make multiple trips back n forth. However I didn’t like the beach area much, specially with young children, as the beach was not shallow enough for us.

Review of Baltrush Bungalow

We stayed in this location for a week the beginning of August. We loved the location and the proximity to the pool and the beach. It was nice to be part of a community where the kids could safely bike and play. The house was nicely laid out and accommodated multiple families and people. Unfortunately it did not come with a coffee pot or essential starter toiletries as advertised. This is something that would have been much appreciated after a long drive before we made a run to the store. My biggest complaint is that there was a pile of human poop next to the hot tub that appeared to have been there for some time. It took the company 24 hours to come out and remove/clean it up. Unfortunately that was a major turn off for using the hot tub for the week.

Thank you for your review, Becky! I'm glad our team was able to deliver the starter kit & new coffee pot for you shortly after you called. Regarding the feces behind the hot tub and deck railing, we do believe it to be animal considering that raccoons and opossums are very common in our area and the location it was found. Regardless, we do apologize it was overlooked during the servicing prior to check-in. Our team members came to address this as soon as they could. So glad your family enjoyed the week overall! This house does have a great layout for a larger group & the quiet cul-de-sac near the beach access is perfect for letting the kids play safely. We would love to welcome you back to the OBX again in the future, so please keep us in mind!
