Worst VRBO experience ever
We are relocating to Texas and picked a VRBO for our 10 day stay. The afternoon we were checking in, I got a call from the property manager saying the washer was broken. Frustrating, but they told me it would be fixed within the first 2 days. A few hours later, they called to say the refrigerator is broken. I take medicine that needs to be refrigerated so I told them that won’t work for us. They called the owner and they said they would not refund our money. I called VRBO and they asked me what my illness is and what type of medicine. I guess they would use their medical expertise to decide if it really needed to be refrigerated. After almost 2 hours on the phone, VRBO stated these 2 issues were minor inconveniences.
I started messaging and calling 2 days later to see when the fridge would be fixed. The property manager never responded. I asked for additional towels and wash clothes since we had no washing machine. They never responded. In the pictures, it showed desks in the house. My husband and I both planned to work from home for the 10 day stay. When we arrived, the desk was broken and in the garage.
This is the worst VRBO stay I have ever experienced. The property manager and VRBO both show a lack of concern for their customers.
Avoid this property and this property manager at all cost.
