We came to Bryson City for our anniversary and to enjoy the leaves. We had a great stay! I thought there was a hot tub, but this one did not. So, a little disappointing. Other than that, 10/10. Very clean, 0.5 mile walk to downtown. It was perfect!
The bathtub was moldy and we had to take the sheets off and put them in the washer and take all trash out started dishwasher why do I have to clean the room when I pay a cleaning fee dust everywhere lamp was cracked then they want me to leave a tip they left a envelope on the table for a tip don’t plan on staying there again
Stayed 2 nights in Nov 2023

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We take cleanliness very seriously, and we are sincerely sorry that you encountered mold in the bathtub and dust upon your arrival. That is not the standard we set for our home, and we immediately followed up with our housekeeping team to ensure a thorough deep clean and to replace the damaged lamp.
We also want to clarify our guest policies and checkout requests. The cleaning fee covers the full, professional deep-sanitizing, laundering, and preparation of the cabin between stays. Simple checkout steps—like taking out trash or starting the dishwasher—are intended to help maintain hygiene and keep critters away until the cleaning crew arrives. That said, we regret that these requests felt burdensome to you.
We also appreciate your note about the tip envelope and are re-evaluating how tipping is presented to ensure our guests never feel pressured. Thank you for your feedback, as it helps us make direct improvements to our property and guest experience.
