We rented this house for a memorial service in the area for everyone who was traveling to attend. The house is great for a older home. Very large and accommodating for big groups. Communication with host was not all that great as most messages came in Chinese and we had to use a AI translator to translate their messages. Definetly need to correct this for your future guest. Most rooms had everything supplied okay but the kitchen is lacking. A trip to the dollar store would be a easy fix to this problem. Kitchen towels, washcloths, more cooking utensils, tupperware, salt, pepper, sugar, cleaning sprays, or Clorox wipes, etc were not available. Cooking in the kitchen was almost like camping without those items. All in all, it is a nice house and we appreciate being able to stay there for the weekend. Much better than hotel option. I want to mention also that we paid for the contract at the time of purchase but our credit card was charged the full amount a second time on the day we arrived. I had to contact VRBO about it to investigate, also made a dispute with my cc for the charge. I messaged the host as well but they never responded to my messages to reassure me they were going to take care of the problem. Responding to my messages should have been the least they could have done. Very stressful situation to have to go through.
