This house is in a suburban neighborhood where every window looks into a neighbor’s window yet no issues as window coverings worked well. In town for grandson’s HS graduation and all was sufficient for meals, sleep, AC in the Lansing humidity.

Stayed here to visit our son and go to the MSU football game. Sure, it could use some updates, but it fit our needs just fine. Neighborhood was good, but we were on campus most of the time. Hosts were responsive.

We have a permanent contract for preventive service with Orkin pest control company. They service the property every other month. This frequency has been increase after the guest claim to be sure that nothing has been missed or in case something has contaminated the house between the service. The reports we get states that the place is clear of the bugs. We deceded to have maintenance service since last years to prevent this occurrence to happen. In addition to orkin service, all beddings that were used during the guest stay were thrown away, replaced with newer.

The location of the property is excellent. A nice house. However, there are 2 flights of stairs that should be noted in the description. There were no check out instructions, but we did what we thought was appropriate.

Tournament trip stay

We were in town for a tournament, this location was excellent. The house was clean, comfortable, albeit a bit dated looking, but gave us exactly what we needed. Only suggestion is to not have the plug in air freshener, one of the members of the party has allergies to fragrances. Thank you again, great price for the Lansing area.

This house still has bed begs!!!

We stayed for several nights and my friend started having weird bite marks on his arms, we checked his bed and we found the bed bugs we didn’t see the reviews before we booked it.

It was unfortunate to have these great guests face challenges in our property. As we are aware that things may happen, we use ORKIN for preventive maintenance. They do service once in two months. As soon as we learned about the situation with guest, we Orkin was called for urgent deep treatment, we temporarily closed closed down the property temporarily, disposed off used beddings for new ones, fully refunded the guest with our apologies. Orkin services are going to continue on regular basis. It’s our firm bilieve that this issue is resolved

Family Friendly Home/ Neighbors Not Family Friendly

The property had plenty of space for our family of 5. 2 adults and 3 kids. The location was close to wedding activities that we were in town for. The home is family friendly, but the neighborhood is not. Rude neighbors, cussed my children, drinking and smoking weed. We also found several vapes in the fences in back yard.

I wish you had notified us as soon as the incident happened.We have only one neighbor, a female, who usually does not interfere in our business. She has grown up children. We would have addressed. The cussing issue if we would have been advised on time as this is the first time we hear that. The backyard is fully fenced and accessible by our guests only.We have a smoke free policy.we never smoke in our lives. We have less control over what happens in neighbors properties. Michigan is also a weed free state, our house and our properties are not. Next time when you come to us, we will be sure to check with you during the stay to be sure that your experience with us stays with only positive memories. Rehards.

Musty ghetto

Never even stayed on the property was immediately hit by the overwhelming smell of musty mildew. Needless to say the property looked like somebody had just left and it hadn't even been cleaned we ended up renting a hotel room instead.

The guest did not stay with us. Property was not ready when the guest arrived. Relocated to different place, 100% refunded money. Previous guest had health challenges preventing them to leave on time. We aim for excellence, Hosting is what we do!
