This wonderful property had all the comforts and conveniences of home, in a quiet and convenient location. Nothing was lacking, especially in the kitchen. The living room was spacious and well furnished. The rocking chairs on the front porch were a great spot for an afternoon beverage and relaxing conversation, or to check email on the super fast WiFi network. Other amenities that we did not use because we were too busy playing tourists on the penisula included bicycles, a fire pit, a gas grill on a spacious back deck, and the washer/dryer. If we lived closer, this property would be on our "must-visit often" list.
Lovely home and surroundings, well-equipped kitchen, only 5 minutes from Lakeside Park in Jacksonport, on the quiet side! We look forward to our next visit and will definitely re-book with Steve and Jessica!
Such a great place! This was our first time in Door County and the house was conveniently located to places we went to. This house has so much room and everything you would need. Always a quick response to my questions. Would definitely stay here again
This is one of the best VRBO's I've stayed in. Inviting, cozy, tasteful and clean. Attention to details, clear instructions, felt like home away from home.

We are so happy you enjoyed your time. Thank you so much for staying with us.
What an absolutely beautiful place to stay. I had taken my girlfriend up to DC to get engaged at Cave Point (she said yes), and this location was prime, only 8 minutes away! The house is fully stocked with bag chairs, marshmallow sticks, pots/pans, utensils, etc. The fire pit with string lights in the back was an amazing touch, and made for beautiful nights by the fire. The location is a bit further away from your typical DC spots, but this makes for absolutely silent nights with no noise and complete solidarity. The only one thing to note is the septic holding tank, which you may have to be a bit more conservative with water use. Our party was 3 guests, and it was never an issue, just something to note for others staying here. All around I'd highly recommend this property, and will definitely consider staying again next time around, thank you Steve & Jess!!
We had a great time! The house was a perfect location. We look forward to coming back!

Had a wonderful stay with Steve and Jessica. Cabin was clean, listing accurate, and worked very well for our party of 6. Location worked wonderful - very easy to access all of door county within 30ish minutes. Steve and Jessica very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!!

Everything was better than we could have imagined. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and was in close driving distance to so many of the things we wanted to see and do. We loved the house and our stay in Door County! Thank you so much. We can’t wait to come back.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. You are welcome back anytime!
We loved staying in this house as a family of 5 with three kids 8 and under. We brought our own twin blow up mattress and put all three kids in one room. We wished the curtains were blackout, but it worked out alright for three nights. The living area was very spacious for the kids to run around in. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils for us to make multiple meals at the house. We loved being so close to whitefish dunes/cave point for hikes and beach access. A few games are provided, we played Skip-Bo a lot! Firewood is provided for the fire pit, but it may not be dry enough. The quiet road would be great for bikes if we’d brought them. Keep in mind the dryer takes a couple hours to complete, especially since they recommend a full laundry load to reserve water usage. But this house was the perfect home base for our family vacation. Recommend!

Thanks so much for the review. So happy you enjoy your stay. We actually have built a new firewood cover since you stayed so that is now fixed. Yes, we do like guests to have a full load of laundry so save on water since we are on a septic holding tank. Thank you so much for staying with us. We hope you come again.
