Excellent place to stay. Very convenience location, deep water, easy to access the Gulf or Atlantic. The kids had great time fishing from the dock.

Pool was perfect temperature. Host responded quickly and resolved garbage issue very timely.House was clean. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Fishing was good from the dock. Lobster, crab, shrimp, manatee, stingray, dolphins were some of what we saw/caught from the dock!

The property was as described. We had a mom and calf manatee swim right up to the dock. We caught some fish off the dock. We had a day when the pool heater was not working the way it should and it was addressed very quickly. I would definitely recommend this house and will be going back.

The outdoor spaces provided many opportunities and options to enjoy the pool, relax dockside, fish off the dock, or enjoy the canal.

PopPop’s Last Family Vacation

Lots to do at the house and in the area for all ages. Great house, pool, and dock. Caught lots of fish off the dock and even got the 3-year old grandkids excited about fishing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway.

Location is perfect!

Perfect location for your boat. Access to gulf and Atlantic right there. Plenty of life, manatees, shark, and plenty of fish all off the dock. Restaurants and activities all short distances away. Great place, clean and fees like home. Highly recommend

Lobster Lounge

Great location right on the water on Vaca cut. Lindsey was awesome with any questions we had. Plenty of kitchen supplies and towels. Second refrigerator and freezer in the garage a huge plus for fishing. Would definitely stay here again!!!

WONDERFUL STAY

We had an amazing stay. The house is in an excellent, quiet, convenient location. Being right on the water was so nice. We did a little fishing, were entertained watching the pelicans and boats, and saw a few manatee. The house has everything we needed. It was very clean and comfortable. Dealing with Lindsey and the property management was effortless. Thank you so much for another great VRBO experience.

Marathon Rocks

What a great house, 130 ft if Rick on a canal and Vacay Cut. Pool overlooking the water and great outdoor seating. Inside very good with plenty of sleeping beds and bathrooms. Great room with big table, counter stools and big tv and space. If you want to fish go right off the dock or a few blocks to a party fishing boat the Marathon Lady. Key West an hour away. Great place for a family vacation and we had 6 adults and 4 kiddos and it was terrific.

Property was perfect. Fisher/boater's paradise. Host was very responsive to all our inquiries. Had our 37ft Scout boat with us and parked along both sides of the dock. Dont recommend parking a large boat during the turning tide. Current is very strong. We kept it tied up on the Vaca cut side until the water was calmer. During steadier waters the dock was so fun for fishing. The pool was cool and the AC worked great. Host had plenty of bath towels and beach towels to use. Complementary dish soap, hand soap, Shampoo and body wash was a nice touch. The ice maker was slow so we ran out of ice quickly with a large group wanting icy drinks. The trash removal situation, even with twice a week pickup, was not conducive for renters leaving/arriving on a Saturday. It requires planning ahead and knowing exactly when can removal takes place and even then you WILL have trash when you leave Sat. Beware of angry neighbor guarding the cans!For Wheelchair users, bring folding ramp to enter home due to small step. There are also steps to reach the dock.

Nicely Appointed and Conveniently Located Rental

We really enjoyed this home, and it worked very well for two families for a total of 9 people. We brought a boat, and it is conveniently located near a launch ramp (approximately 1 mile away) and bait/tackle store which was within walking distance. The neighborhood is very quiet and the home has been nicely updated and was very clean. The corner lot provided a good deal of privacy and plenty of space for docking. The main channel has a very stiff current at times, which can make docking a challenge for novice boaters/captains. All in all, we really enjoyed the stay and dealing with Lindsey was very effortless. The only issue we had was with the dishwasher. It was broken upon arrival and required 3 separate visits across three different days by the maintenance person to get it partially working.
