4 BR 4 BA, Private Pool, Paddleboards, Bikes, Lots of Great Amenities!

The Blue Turtle Villa, located in Key Colony Beach, in the Marathon area, is a gorgeous, brand new, designer decorated canal front duplex with a modern coastal feel! Each side is rented separately and has 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a private pool with a heater and a chiller, and all the amenities you would want for an amazing vacation in the fabulous Florida Keys!

There is 2309 square feet of living space, consisting of two living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs (with a sleeper sofa). Highspeed wireless internet is available free of charge (over 900 mbps) and there are 6 TVs (living room has cable; other have Netflix, Hulu, etc). Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and more! Keurig (pod and pot), pots, pans, dishes (adult & kids), silverware, baking sheets, muffin tin, Vitamix blender, food processor, crockpot, Dutch over, fondue pot, air fryer, pressure cooker, hand mixer, bar tender tools and more.

Upstairs is the open kitchen, dining and living area with a covered patio (with dining table and additional outdoor seating) overlooking the beautiful private pool with white marble and turf. The Master Suite upstairs has a king bed, en suite bathroom with two walk in closets. Also upstairs are the bunk beds with a full trundle and a hall bathroom.

Downstairs is a second living room area with a TV and sleeper sofa, a Junior Master with a king bed and en suite bathroom, and a guest room with a queen bed and bathroom that opens to the bedroom and hallway. The living room opens to a covered patio area with a Summer Kitchen with gas grill, BBQ accessories, dining table and furniture and outdoor shower!

There is a 35' Dock with fish cleaning station. If you are bringing a boat, the length of the boat cannot be more than 35' with the outboard motor in the tilt up position and pulpit and anchor ($ 200 a day imposed by the city if not followed) . The property cannot accommodate a boat trailer. Key Colony Beach provides trailer parking for a fee of $ 100 per week or $ 200 per month. It is available on a first come first serve basis. We will reimburse for the expense of parking your trailer at KCB. Please see below for additional details on trailer parking.

We provide all bed linens, bath and beach towels. In addition we provide these for your entire stay: paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, dish washer detergent, basic cleaning supplies, sponge, green scrub pad, trash bags, laundry detergent, stain spray, bleach, bar soap for bathrooms.

There is a water front park on 12th Street (see pictures) where lots of neighbors gather to watch the sunset and sing songs. It's a wonderful experience you won't want to miss! (sorry, no swimming).

There are a variety of restaurants and shops in Key Colony Beach. There are plenty of shops, activities and restaurants in Marathon, all within a 10 minute drive!

There are two beaches in Marathon: Coco Plum Beach (3.4 miles) and Sombrero Beach (7 miles)

There are two grocery stores: Publix and Winn Dixie (5.4 miles).

The property has a 7 night minimum (required by the City of Key Colony Beach) and is limited to 10 guests, including infants (no exceptions). You are required to provided the names and ages of all guest and well as your license plate information. There is a form you will complete and it must be on site and available for inspection by Code Enforcement and/or Police Departments of the City of Key Colony Beach.

We provide check in information (address, access code and other information) the day before arrival.

Boat Trailer Parking: First come, first serve. The boat may not be left on the trailer. The trailer cannot have a lock on it. If you arrive on the weekend or after business hours, you will go to City Hall the next morning (before noon) to pay for and get your permit. If the permit is not on the trailer by noon, it could be towed. The city will provide a water proof permit and zip tie to sue to secure permit to your trailer. When you go to City Hall, you will need to provide the vacation rental address, the boat trailer tag and number and the trailer VIN number. Questions? Please call City Hall. We can form you need to complete and take with you to City Hall.

Fantastic Stay- Highly Recommended!

We had an amazing time at the Fabulous Canal Front Villa! The place was spotless, check-in was easy, and the private pool made our stay even better. Everything was just as described, and the location was peaceful yet convenient.The host was great at communicating, and we felt right at home. Awesome Key Colony Beach Rental

Great location and extremely clean property. Many activities to do from paddle boarding, bike riding, to ping pong Par 3 course and awesome kayak rental service nearby. Would definitely stay here again if opportunity arose

Amazing Week

This was by far the best VRBO we have ever rented, it was stocked with everything and more for a fun filled week. We enjoyed the neighborhood, playing tennis, pickleball, swimming, and fishing. We also rented a boat and explored the area. We would definitely recommend this property!

Property and Property management were amazing! The interior can use some minor paint touch ups and other minor cosmetic attention. In all the house is amazing, we love staying here when visiting Marathon. The house has high quality finishes, comes with a great assortment of games to play at the house, as well as equipment for Pickleball, paddle boarding, etc... The kitchen is well equipped to accommodate cooking and hosting friends. Would like to have an extra change of bed linens to swap during our stay, we usually stay multiple weeks at a time. We will be back, we miss it already!! Thanks to Meredith for accommodating all our requests.

Amazing vacation!

This is by far the best house we’ve stayed at in The Keys. We enjoyed the paddle boards, bikes, and games on a daily basis. The pool chillers were the best after a day on the boat. The beds were comfy, everyone had their own private bathroom, we had everything we needed to cook meals. Best stocked house ever! I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. We had an amazing trip!

Amazing property

We spent the 4th of July holiday week at this amazing property in Key Colony Beach. The house is new and furnished very nicely. The kitchen has everything you will need and we enjoyed cooking and having our meals outside on the second story porch overlooking the pool and canal. Quiet neighborhood but close to everything in Marathon. Lots of amenities and games which would be great for families with kids. Highly recommend- we would stay here again. Note- the water faucets are backwards and it took us a few days to find that the hot water was left instead of right! Although cool showers were nice in the hot summer temps.

Spectacular Property

We have been renting in the Keys for 20+ years. This house is by far the best equipped home we have ever rented. The owners didn’t miss a thing. The home beautifully decorated and VERY clean. Bonus…the A/C is nice and cool! The dock is great for fishing with kids. We saw sea urchins, jelly fish, herons, tons of fish, crabs, barracuda, pelicans, an octopus, iguanas, nurse sharks. Keep an eye out for a family of manatee come through almost every day to say hello. The owner is great and extremely responsive should you have any questions. I highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed our stay

The property was very clean. Well stocked with dishware and cookware. Would like to have had more items that are required for cooking (when only visiting for a week) ie oils, vinegars, flour, spices, etc. I realize with covid 19 still prevalent, this may not be within everyone's comfort level, but could leave that to the renter's discretion. Otherwise, we enjoyed the outdoor area on a regular basis and beds were very comfortable for sleeping and convenient that every bedroom had an ensuite. It is important to realize it is a retirement community and even being outside at 9 pm having a late dinner, required us to be very quiet as neighbourhood lights were already off by that time.

Beautiful property- perfect location

Our family of eight (plus a baby) spent Thanksgiving week at Blue Turtle Villa. The layout was perfect for our group - everyone had enough space. The villa has everything you could think of (even an air fryer and crockpot). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were very modern. There was a pack n play for our little one to use. Location is very quiet and the neighborhood was great for walking. Sunset at the park was memorable. We probably most enjoyed the outdoor space - the pool was great and enjoyed the location right on the canal. We can’t say enough about the property manager - very responsive before, during and after our visit. We ran out of dishwasher detergent and it was brought out right away. The water filter in the fridge needed to be replaced and this was done within a couple of hours of letting them know. Highly recommend this property and hope we can some back someday!
