You can walk to the village to enjoy the town's charming shops and restaurants. After a day of skiing, snowmobile or an adventure, you can just stay in with a fully equipped kitchen to cook and enjoy a meal on a seated island. Also, relax with your smart tv or with the queen size murphy bed to get a good night slept with black out shades. You don't need a vehicle to get around, everything is walkable. If you want to check other ski resorts, towns or villages it worth the sightseeing. This is a great place to keep it simple and the Perfect Getaway. Okemo Mountain has night skiing also for your enjoyment.

Cute little place in a great location.

This place was comfortable and just the right size foe my stay. Ownernwas responsive to communication before and during my stay. It's on the edge of Ludlow so close enough to walk into town for a.meal or the Sunday Farmer's Market. I would recommend taking the chair lift of Okemo Mountain then walking to the fire tower for a great view. If you walk away from the town, at the end of Mill Street there's a very refreshing swimming hole under the pedestrian bridge. You can.also find a bigger swimming hole at Buttermilk Falls or Clarendon Gorge. It's a beautiful arae with a lot to offer.

Perfect for ski getaway for two

This was a perfect spot for two to stay. Close walk to town and quick drive to Okemo. Had everything you would need to cook simple meals also.

Perfect spot to spend a weekend

My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Right in town, the location gave us easy access to all the trails we wanted to go to over the weekend. This place had all the amenities we could have asked for, and we really enjoyed the ability to cook some meals and feel like “home” during our stay. We can’t wait to go back!

Good place

Overall nice. Full kitchen was great Enjoyed discovering Ludlow, within easy walking distance. Gets uncomfortably warm with temperatures in high 70’s, could use window screens to let in cool air.

Nice studio condo near Okemo

This is a very nice studio condo for 1-2 people. It is in walking distance of town shops and restaurants and a short drive to Okemo mountain. Worked out perfectly for me.

Perfect long weekend ski getaway

Great location near Okemo, skipped the shuttle and drove 5 minutes to Jackson Gore parking lot. Walked to town for a bite. Place is comfy for two. Could work for a couple and teen as well. Overall very satisfied. I’d stay there again for sure!

Luxurious minimalism

We loved this condo. It is a small place but it was perfect for us. The host has thought of everything - unique storage spaces, extra towels, charging stations, excellent Wifi and TV, a well equipped kitchen! The town is also small but extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast at The Hatchery and lunch and dinner at Killarney’s!

Great place!

My daughter and I had a great stay at this condo. It was a very cozy, beautifully decorated, clean place. It had everything you’d need. Even shampoo, conditioner, and a hair dryer were available. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed very well stocked. The building is within walking distance of downtown. We walked to all the little shops and restaurants. James, the owner, was extremely helpful and accommodating. We fell in love with this little town! Will definitely be back!

Made the most of a recovering town

Vermont was still recovering from some pretty devastating flooding when we arrived, but the condo was in excellent condition, and many establishments in Ludlow and neighboring towns were welcoming patrons. We had to travel a little farther to find hiking trails that weren't closed for flooding, but the hosts provided some suggestions for places to visit. The only downsides at the condo: the TV was a little slow to boot up and launch apps, so we ended up just using a laptop instead, and the pan that we used to cook took a while to soak and clean, but these were minor downsides that did not detract from the stay. We would come back!

Top rated place to stay

This place is better than the pictures advertised! Jim was very responsive to texts and the instructions for check in were easy. He displayed in a nice picture frame of all the pertinent info and check out process. The sofa was nice and firm to sleep on and there was a nice down comforter. He had top of the line toiletries and dishware. I loved the stainless steel appliances. The microwave is efficient. He provided basic cooking items for example oil, salt, and pepper. Nice simple decor on the walls as well as green plants giving it a homely vibe. There was an area in the kitchen where you could hang your ski jackets and clothing under the heater. This place was the perfect size. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting. Jim put a lot of thought into his vrbo and I would definitely stay here again!

Very Small but great location

Trip was for myself, and my 13 yr old son, coming up from the Baltimore area. Was disappointed that the owners never responded to a few of my questions about the town/logistics especially given the flood last year. I emailed them more than 2 weeks before my trip, and it would have been nice to know the only grocery store in town was not open. Only on my last day did I see you could order online, and then pick up some items at the local Shaw market. By then too late. A few things to note: The futon is not a twin- so the sheets provided did not fit. Would need a full or a queen. There is no area to relax, unless you want to lay in the Murphy bed, or the futon coach which is quite hard. It may not be the best for skiing, given the size. Also there is a charge for the laundry which was also not included in the description. So had to make a special trip to a bank to get coins. Appears we left a couple of our pillows and never heard back from the owners, after I asked them to check with the cleaning people. I've never had an owner not respond, and I've utilized Vrbo many times.

Snowstorm Okemo Stay

This is an apartment located right off the main stretch of road going to Okemo. Jim and Peter were excellent with their communication and were very flexible to the stay dates I needed. When getting there it can easily be missed but the building is a 2 story Yellow building with a brick front. My one note is that when you check-in you need to make sure that you enter the unit from the outside NOT the inside. The unit faces the road you come in on so its on the far side of the building. The unit is very well maintained and clean and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is a bit tight but for 1-2 people sharing it is not bad at all. Unit does NOT have a washer and dryer, so if you plan to ski definitely bring a laundry bag for dirty/sweaty clothes. If you plan to cook I would definitely get basic supplies like extra cooking oil, butter, spices etc as they have only salt, pepper, and 1 spray oil can. They have plenty of utensils but one note on this is that the apt only has a flat top grill spatula (that you see hibachi chefs use) so cooking eggs/anything in the frying pan is a bit tough. Floors can get a bit chilly due to the unit being on the first floor so definitely wear socks when moving about! Overall a great stay and would definitely stay there again if I visit Okemo!
