This apartment was beautiful! The decor was elegant and edgy. We really appreciated the 24 hour doorman and the garage parking. It was close to all things downtown, and only about 30 minutes away from Disneyland and Long Beach. The host was very responsive when we had questions. We would definitely recommend this apartment and rent it again!!!

Stylish apartment

This property was right in the middle of the city! It was perfect! Close to everything and plenty of good food. The apartment itself was beautiful, really unique decor, and plenty of space to hang out when we were not out in the city. Great downtown experience!

This apartment has everything we needed for our stay! From secure entrence to free underground parking! The renters were very responsive to any questions I may have had! The apartment and rooftop pool were juat as advertised! Very clean and had all kitchen ware needed for staying in and making a meal! Would definitely recommend if you need to be close to all that is happing downtown!

This property made our trip to LA so much easier. We were in town for a conference at the convention center. The property is super close to the theatres and convention center. Great stay!

Loved the location and the property was super clean and well-organized. The pool on the roof was an added bonus with lovely views. The only tricky thing was figuring out how to get to the parking garage because the entrances are not super clear. Once you get it, though, it’s great to have a parking spot downtown without the hassle of driving around for a long time or having it on the street. Our host was quick to respond to our questions.

Designers Dream

My husband and I spent two nights at the apartment in Sept 2023. The decor and features of the rental were exactly as presented in the ad. The gallery wall, textiles, colors - everything, was clearly hand selected for the space and made for a comfortable and inviting space. Walking distance to local eateries, convenience store directly next door to entrance, easy access to the parking garage. My only complaint would be one of the doorman, pretty sure he was drunk when we arrived. Other than that we had a great stay and would stay again. Peter was awesome and prompt to reply to any questions I had.

We don’t guess what makes a great stay—we experience it.

Each of our properties is designed to feel like a story. Some are cozy and romantic, others are bright and open, and every single one reflects the personality of its neighborhood. We want guests to feel like they’ve stepped into something special, not just another box on a booking site.

We’ve been hosting for years and have welcomed hundreds of guests across multiple cities. Before hosting, we produced live theater in Los Angeles and managed long-term rentals, so hospitality and presentation have always been at the heart of what we do.

Peter’s a fast-talking, opinionated New Yorker. Veronica’s a calm, thoughtful California native. Somehow, it works. We met online in 2013, and we’ve been together ever since. Now we live in the San Fernando Valley with our three dogs—Delilah, Henry, and Norman—who run the house and pretend we work for them.

We take pride in creating spaces that feel warm, cared for, and truly guest-ready. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a month, our goal is to give you the kind of comfort and care we’d want for ourselves.

Why they chose this property

Downtown LA means a lot to us—both personally and as locals who’ve watched it evolve. When Veronica was a little girl, her parents used to bring her to see classic Mexican movies right here in Downtown. Back then, it wasn’t exactly a destination. For years, DTLA had a reputation as a place you passed through—not one you stayed in.

But times have changed. And we’ve proudly made this neighborhood part of our story.

Over the past decade, we’ve watched DTLA rise—literally and figuratively. Historic buildings have been restored, world-class restaurants have moved in, theaters have come back to life, and the streets are full of people from all over the world discovering a whole new side of Los Angeles.

And location-wise? It doesn’t get better. LA is massive and spread out—but from here, you’re almost never more than 20 minutes from anywhere. Hollywood, USC, Beverly Hills, Silver Lake, the beach… all within reach. (Okay, unless it’s rush hour. Then it’s 20 minutes—or two and a half hours. Welcome to LA!)

We chose this spot because it’s the perfect jumping-off point for everything the city has to offer—and we’re proud to share it with our guests.

What makes this property unique

In a city full of copy-paste rentals, we wanted to create something that actually meant something—to us, and hopefully to you. Instead of the same beige walls and IKEA art, we designed this space around our deep love of music and Downtown LA’s rich history of live performance.

Every artist featured on our 30+ piece gallery wall has performed in a venue just blocks away. From the Orpheum to The Mayan to Crypto.com Arena, Downtown LA is where legends play—and we wanted to bottle that spirit.

The loft itself feels like a backstage escape after a sold-out show: dramatic, indulgent, and full of mood. We went for high-end finishes and plush details because music deserves luxury. If you’re someone who feels at home with a soundtrack always playing in the background, this is your place.
