We loved our stay here and would totally recommend it to others. The only thing that would’ve been nice is to have some bottled water or coffee available for guests. Thanks for your hospitality and flexibility with check out since we had a late flight.

Donna was always available and communicated directions to allow ease upon arrival. This cabin on the water was amazing! Everything our family needed was there to relax. The kitchen was well stocked to cook meals. Location was perfect as we were close to head into downtown Portland and even headed to Portland Light and enjoyed some time outdoors.

Cozy Lake House

Very nice house off the beaten path, yet close enough to all activities. Nestled in the woods on a lake made for very relaxing down time. Beds were super comfortable which was a huge plus. Perfect stay!

the home was very nice. pretty views. I think the cleaners hired need to do better. there was dirt in places they should check. a lot of cobwebs, some spider webs too though those can appear overnight. A LOT of rules likely due to residents' complaints. we were ok because we were 40 and 50 something women who weren't interested in being up late. the mattress I had was too old. it sunk at the head so my feet were higher than my head. I actually slept the "wrong" way. the host seems to be very nice over emails. we didn't have the opportunity to meet face to face. I would stay here again.

This lakeside home was comfortable, roomie, and exceeded our expectations. With updated finishes and a lot of kitchen and living space, this was the perfect space for a group of girls!

We just had the granite steps put in this spring and waiting on the railing guy to make the railings and install them. They won’t feel so open when finished.

Great lakeside Portland area vacation home!

Excellent accommodations, wish we had stayed longer! Nice to be a short drive from the city, and at the same time be in a nice quiet woodsy area right on the lake! We loved the games area downstairs, and enjoyed boating with the kayaks and paddle boat provided. Lovely view of the lake from the kitchen /dining area. Excellent communications with the host.

Relax lakeside

We had a wonderful 3-week stay at this comfortable lakeside home. Quiet location on a beautiful lake, easy drive to Portland city and airport. Lots of towns and nature walks to explore. Donna is very available and hospitable. Two king size beds is a bonus. Highly recommend!

House on the lake

My wife and I stay for a long weekend, had a great time! Anything you might need is provided, watched the sun rise over the lake right from the dinning table, enjoyed the gas fireplace at night. Off the beaten path but not really 5min and your on the main drag with a multitude of stores. I'm sure its even nicer in the warm weather.

We LOVED our stay! The cabin is so comfy and clean. The lake is amazing! The host thinks of EVERYTHING to make your stay enjoyable...from plenty of towels to lifejackets to fans to dishes...the list goes on. It's a great location in the quiet but not far from stores and restaurants. There was a bad storm that rolled through right before we got there but Donna came over right away to make sure we had settled in ok. I would recommend this place to anyone asking for a peaceful place to stay and if I ever venture back to Maine I would stay here in a heartbeat!

Excellent !

What we enjoyed the most, besides the beautiful cottage, amenities, and location, was the Lake. The calmness of the early morning views, and the easy accessibility, just to name a few. And of course, the incredible variety of birds, and their beautiful birdsongs. Our favorite was listening to calls of the loons echoing across the lake.
