Hi, I’m Mindy! Hosting on Airbnb is my way of sharing the joy I find in exploring the world. Travel has always been my greatest teacher—it’s given me unforgettable experiences and new perspectives.

As a host, I love creating a welcoming space where guests feel at home while also inspired to explore. Whether you’re here to relax or to dive into local experiences, I’m excited to welcome you to my beautiful serenity and maybe even suggest a few favorite food spots to make your stay memorable.

Why they chose this property

Highland Lake House sits in one of those rare spots that feels peaceful and tucked away, yet still wonderfully connected. The home is on a quiet dead‑end road right on the water, so mornings start with calm lake views and the sound of loons instead of traffic. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe a little deeper, and feel like you’ve stepped into your own private retreat.

What I enjoy most about this neighborhood is the balance it offers. You get the serenity of a lakeside escape, but you’re still only about 20 minutes from downtown Portland.

Whether guests want to explore restaurants and shops or simply cozy up by the fireplace, everything is within easy reach. The area has a friendly, welcoming feel—neighbors wave, the lake is always beautiful in every season, and there’s a sense of calm that makes it easy to unwind the moment you arrive.

What makes this property unique

Highland Lake House stands out because it blends modern comfort with the kind of lakeside tranquility that’s getting harder to find. The home sits directly on the water on a quiet dead‑end road, giving guests rare, uninterrupted lake views from nearly every angle. Whether it’s sipping coffee in the all‑season sunroom, working remotely from the dedicated ergonomic workspace, or unwinding by the fireplace after a day of exploring, the house is designed to feel both restorative and effortless.

What truly sets it apart is how versatile the space is. Families, couples, and groups all find something to love—kayaking and swimming in summer, cozy fires and peaceful snowy views in winter, and year‑round access to Portland’s food scene just 20 minutes away. The home feels secluded without being remote, offering the perfect balance of privacy, convenience, and natural beauty. It’s a place where guests can slow down, reconnect, and enjoy the simple luxury of being right on the lake.
