Very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful scenery. Loved seeing all of the Joshua trees and mountains. We were able to bring our two dogs, and they enjoyed the walks after we returned from the Grand Canyon and vising the quaint little town of Meadowview. The Boathouse diner has super food. The cabin had a coffee bar and breakfast items which was nice before heading out each day. There were lots of games and blankets to keep warm. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and dishes for cooking. It felt like home away from home.

Very cute cabin close to West Grand Canyon

We stayed here for a night when visiting the West side of the Canyon. It was about a 40 minute drive to the canyon, very convenient. The cabin is in a very quiet area, very secluded. All is as described and the owners were easy to reach and available for all questions.

Short Visit to the Canyon

We stayed overnight as a side trip from Vegas. We were able to see the Hoover Damn and Grand Canyon. We didn’t realize how close we would be to the Joshua Tree Forest so that was an added bonus. The property was super clean and Michelle was so nice. She went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. We would recommend.

The hosts are very thoughtful. They were easy to communicate with. The cabin is adorable with a lot of personal touches. The hosts are also very informative and have a guide for you to use. We were able to bring along our dogs. The area around the property is quite lovely as well. My only regret is not having a bit more time. The west side of the Grand canyon was beautiful and colorful. The site was informative and the whole were friendly

The cabin was very secluded and we enjoyed the surrounding scenery. It gave us a taste of living in the desert. We could see the mountains. It was so nice to be able to bbq and relax after a long day at the Grand Canyon. Communication was constant with the owners and we loved our stay.

Cozy cabin with beautiful scenery

Well off the beaten path and surrounded by nature, this cabin is perfect if you desire solitude. The hosts have thought of everything you will need to be comfy and even offer special packages - such as all the fixings for a steak dinner, which we took advantage of. They communicated clearly and provided everything that was promised. We really enjoyed our weekend and would gladly return.

The hosts were very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. A bit of a hiccup with check-in, but the host made every effort to get us access to the property. They were very quick and highly responsive even on Thanksgiving day!Love the location of the property and the surrounding nature. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. We found everything we needed in the cute little cabin. The fenced courtyard was perfect for our two fur babies and allowed them to nap in the sun on the porch. Our two pooches may have loved it as much as we did.!
Sunset
Fire pit patio was a great bonus. Complete with roasting sticks!

Quick Trip

Our trip was quick but absolutely wonderful at this cabin! It had all the essentials to feel like home and we were completely enamored with being in the middle of the desert with a Joshua Tree right outside our window. We will definitely be back to stay again, hopefully to make a bonfire and stargaze out where there are no light. Thank you to the wonderful hosts!

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very clean with several little details and touches that were both appreciated and a reflection of the hospitality of the host. It kind of felt like a B&B without having the host on your face. The location is close to Grand Canyon West. And we appreciated being on the edge of the Joshua Tree Forest. We took in both sunrise and sunset.

Anniversary Weekend Stay

We chose this property for its closeness to the Grand Canyon & also Las Vegas, where we flew in from. It did not disappoint! This cabin is charming & hosts obviously go out of their way to make a nice stay! We had snacks & water waiting for us & opted in on a steak dinner, which was a delicious TBone! It felt like we were in middle of nowhere & staying in was just what we wanted! Our day on the West Rim was perfect too & loved the locale. The cabin in the middle of Joshua Trees was very unique & fun, plus that sky was amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Peaceful cabin for getaway

This cabin was the perfect place for me to get away from the city with my husband, 5-year-old and my dog! The place is clean, well kept, and has all the home amenities you need to make it feel like a home away from home. Michelle and Trevor were very communicative and were very understanding when I messed up with the Vrbo app. I also arranged to have steaks left for us to grill and they were delicious! We spent the day at the Grand Canyon, which was an easy short drive. I loved it, and I felt so very refreshed after a weekend in the quiet and the stars!!

Hello, my wife Michelle and I have lived in Arizona for over 5 years now. We absolutely LOVE it!
We have been married for 33+ years and have 2 grown kids, Chance 31 and Kortni 29. We have 3 fur babies, Delilah, Bear and Dottie. All totaling about 28lbs combined lol...
Michelle has been in Mary Kay for 21+ years and I retired in April 2020. I am also a retired Firefighter & EMT. I have completely redone 2 homes so far and we both LOVE what we do.
We bought our cabin about a year ago and we've redone pretty much everything. We used the old wood & metal lying outside to redo many things on the inside. Decorating it was a labor of love and so fun!
When looking at buying this (under her breath) I heard my daughter say, "I'd love to come up here." That was it! We wanted to have a family gathering place where everyone felt welcome! We hope you do too!

Why they chose this property

The views are incredible, so quiet, and in the middle of the largest Joshua Tree National Forest in the world.
