The Marissa Resort is situated on a large site right on the shores of Lower Saxony’s second-largest lake, Lake Dümmer. A love of nature and sustainability are among the resort’s core values, which are clearly reflected in its architecture and design. You can look forward to a high standard in every respect.



On the grounds, you’ll find a skate park, various playgrounds, a low ropes course and jogging trails along the water’s edge. On the large sandy beach, the heart of life in the park, you’re welcome to swim, play or relax at any time. You can also hire bikes on site for a fee to explore the surrounding area on cycle paths. You can try out various water sports too.



Thanks to the dining options such as the BEACHMAR beach café or the MEZZOMAR buffet restaurant, both situated right by the water’s edge, you can treat yourself to delicious food in complete comfort right on site. There is also a mini-market (sandwiches, regional produce) and a SEEKONTOR shop (a concept store for fashion, home accessories, lifestyle and gourmet products). The large plaza right by the lake is home not only to the conference and events centre but also to the spacious swimming and sauna area.



The Marissa Resort offers not only high-quality holiday accommodation but also leisure and wellness facilities. The Pool&Spa area delights guests of all ages with a large indoor pool featuring a water slide, an outdoor infinity pool, a children’s pool with a grotto, a relaxation area, a conservatory and a snack bar. The large sauna complex invites you to relax with its roof terrace, hot tubs, loungers and sauna area (including a bio sauna and panoramic sauna), as well as a spa bar and lounge. The LYKKE LAND activity centre offers fun for all ages. Spend exciting hours with your family in the children’s play paradise, at the HIT IT! Arena, climbing at Clip ‘n Climb or enjoying the virtual reality experience at Valo Jump.



You’ll also find plenty of options for leisure activities on day trips to the surrounding region. You can go on inspiring cycle rides or walks through unspoilt moorland, or in friendly towns such as Diepholz, Vechta or Osnabrück, sit back and relax with a coffee, go on a shopping trip or stroll through the town centre. Your itinerary could also include guided horse-riding excursions, a sailing lesson on the lake, mini-golf by the lake, a visit to Ströhen Wildlife Park or a round of golf.
