Great place to stay! The a/c is cold, the kitchen well equipped, and plenty of room. Don’t hesitate to stay here. You will need a car.

We stayed 2 weeks at Mels place. She was a great host and always response and help. The place was very clean and updated with everything you would need for a long stay. We did some of our own cooking and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was a plus also. We would stay again.

The host, Mel was amazing very genuine and accommodating. The property was the perfect size with all mod cons, clean and cosy.In terms of the location it was situated not to far from 7 mile beach where the main action.Locally there were supermarkets and places to eat like the yacht club (recommended by th host) and also the local jerk chicken spot.Overall a very enjoyable and pleasant experience perfect for the Christmas get away in the sun.Would definitely book to stay @ Melbella Retreat again...

We rented this property from March 19–26 and had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean and well maintained, and it had all the necessary items for a comfortable week-long stay. The TV included local channels, the free Wi Fi was reliable with very good speed, the AC was very useful also kitchen was very well equipped.The location was also very convenient, with a public bus stop approximately 200 meters away, providing easy access to George Town and Seven Mile Beach. There was even a corner grocery store nearby, which was a great added convenience.Mel is an amazing host—very helpful and responsive, always replying to messages in a timely manner. We truly appreciated the excellent communication and care.Overall, we had a great experience and would happily recommend this property.Paula and Lucian visiting from Canada
