If you like beauty and space it's a dream come true. If you want an American style chain hotel maybe best to look elsewhere.

Castiglioncello villa 2024

Wonderful stay at fantastic villa, delightful breakfasts and chef prepared dinners, easy and gorgeous! Night noise from neighbors til somewhat late, sadly. Lots of laughing and fun at the pool and in the front gardens.

A fantastic villa

The villa is extremely charming and historical with lots of space for groups to spread out both indoors and in the park areas. We discovered the dreamlike domicile a few years ago and it was great to return now, after the pandemic. The villa and its furniture has massive charm with a beautiful and large terrace. It’s located on beautiful and tastefully landscaped grounds and the pool area behind the villa is magnificent. All communication with the owner was uncomplicated, warm and friendly, both prior to our arrival and during our stay. It’s very easy to recommend staying here.

This is a lovely rustic villa in a gorgeous location walking distance from a beautiful coastal historic town and excellent beaches. We were there during extremely hot weather, but the house remained reasonably cool, and there were fans in all the rooms and mosquito electric devices that really kept the bugs down inside. I am very prone to bites and I got not one single bite.A few things could use some updating. The Internet is only usable in one room, so some boosters would be helpful. The pillows and bedding are a little bit old and could use updating. And the refrigerator was a little bit weak for use by a large group. It tends to stop cooling if it was opened too many times. But there were 12 of us and it was very comfortable for all of us. And the most magnificent part of it all was the caretaker that María Stella has for the house- a woman named Veronica, who could not have been friendlier, nicer, more helpful, and willing to do whatever it took to make us comfortable. I want to also mention that the swimming pool is beautiful, large, and exceptionally clean. They have two other houses on this property that I would like to check out for future stays. These are truly excellent hosts. And this location might be one of my favorites in all of Italy.

I’m sorry to hear what you’ve said about the internet connection; it’s fibre-optic and we have several repeaters, given the size of the house. Perhaps some of the repeaters had been switched off, as there’s usually a good connection in all the rooms. P.S. Wir haben unsere Ferien mit fünf Jugendlichen und drei Erwachsenen in der Toskana verbracht. Sowohl die Buchung als auch der Empfang verliefen reibungslos und ausgesprochen herzlich. Schon bei unserer Ankunft haben wir uns sofort in das Haus und den wunderschönen Umschwung verliebt und uns rundum wohlgefühlt.Die Lage bietet zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, und auch der Strand von Castiglioncello ist schnell erreichbar. Gleichzeitig lädt das Haus selbst dazu ein, einfach zu verweilen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen – es bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Aufenthalt braucht.Wir können die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen, da sie wirklich ein besonderes Erlebnis ist. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an unsere Gastgeberin für diesen wundervollen Urlaub!
