Great quiet cabin that matched the photos and description. We loved how secluded it felt but was still close to the lake and other houses where our family was staying. Would absolutely stay there again!
This was exactly what we needed for a weekend getaway!! We loved that we could let our fur baby run around the fenced yard. It was secluded so it was really quiet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. The host was also really quick to respond and help when I messaged.
We had everything we needed and loved how secluded the house was! Owner was very accommodating.

This was a very secluded property, which is what we wanted. However there were some things that definitely could have been better. The kitchen was SO tiny and cookware was marginal at best. Handles falling off the skillets and barely enough room to chop anything. The kitchen table was also extremely small and could really only sit 4 adults despite the listing accommodating 6. In addition, the difficulty of finding the property was not adequately explained as a 4 wheel drive vehicle is need to enter the driveway using one of the paths, which we didnt have, so this made it very treacherous. The yard was also awful. There is no grass and weeds were overgrown, which made it unusable except for our dog to go to the bathroom. Lastly, we had to take our own trash to town and dump it when we left. For the price we paid these things should have been much better. Overall I would not stay here again.

This is a 900sqft A frame cabin in the woods. Our max capacity for the house is 6 people with a total bedroom count of 3. Our pictures of the building show the exact layout.
This property is also rural, a map is sent on the proper way to enter and exit the property. With us being rural and secluded, a gravel road must be used to access the property, this is all mentioned on the listing.
With this being in the hills of the grand lake area, and heavily wooded, the ground base is generally rock or pea gravel, and grass does not grow as a typical fully green lawn in a subdivision with sprinklers. This property is heavily wooded and has large amounts of shade and rock base, so thick grass is not going to grow.
Also the trash is mentioned in the listing. We are rural, there is no trash service. The county provides trash areas to deposit trash and we can take care of it for a small fee.
All of this is defined in our listing, we are a small pet friendly cabin in the woods and have been hosting for 5 years and guests enjoy our place. If the listing details are not read and not understood before staying, I am sorry for that, but we are very clear in what we provide and pictures are of the exact place.
It was exactly as described. The host was easy to contact and gave great advice on how to get to the location. Very peaceful location. We will be back.
The host was great. Apple Maps takes you to the wrong spot in the neighborhood- but the host was kind enough to stay on the phone and talk us through the way there. Use Google maps to
Find it easy. House was great and it is the perfect place to stay if you have a dog. The set up is great and sitting in the backyard by the fire with your dog running around barking at deer is how life was meant to be.
The property was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and the one bath had double sinks. We enjoyed the back yard for our dog since it had a fence and that was one of the main reasons we originally rented the house. However the grass and weeds were not mowed prior to our arrival. The kitchen was very small and did not have adequate supplies for cooking which we did for most meals. Other wise, the stay was pleasant for the weekend.
This a wonderful home to rent, especially if you want to be away from noice. We very much enjoyed It
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet to come back to after we were done racing for the day. They had everything needed with out having to make a fast run to the store. It is a must stay if you want to be in nature, we even had deer walk right by the porch one morning.
