Stay here & it will be an unforgettable stay, any season of the year. 3 bedroom Penthouse with Dining Room, Living Room, and Washer/Dryer in unit. -Master bedroom is a king (Sleeps 2, is 1 bed) -Second master is a queen (Sleeps 2, is 1 bed) This bed has a single trundle pull out. (Sleeps 1, 1 bed) -Third room is a twin bunk over full with trundle pull out. (Sleeps 4, if you put 2 ppl in a full bed. 3 beds) -Living Room sofa pulls out to queen (Sleeps 2, but 1 bed) **ONE Indoor Parking spot** Located 15 minutes drive from Lake Tahoe and Old Town Truckee, The Village at Palisades, Olympic Valley, in the winter features downhill skiing/snowboarding and a free shuttle to the Resort at Squaw as well as Alpine Meadows Ski Resort. During the summer you can rock climb the Palisades with Alpenglow (Via Ferrata) and have access to many hiking trails. Once you park your car in the underground garage, you never need to drive. Ski-in/Ski-out. Ski Rentals, Shopping, Restaurants, and more footsteps away.

I moved to San Francisco 15 years ago, from the East Coast, for work.
During the winter, I'm up in Tahoe snowboarding almost every weekend, hence getting this amazing place, at my favorite mountain. The rest of the year I enjoy discovering new music, restaurants, and spending time with my family. When the wind is good, my latest hobby is sailing around the Bay with friends.
I love to travel and try to do it as often as possible.
When I travel, I appreciate the hospitality of others and hope to return that hospitality when I have guests stay at my house.
I want you to feel welcomed and fall in love with Tahoe and the Palisades, like I did.

Why they chose this property

Don't like driving in the snow? Don't like sitting in traffic to get to the slopes? Located in the heart of the Village at Palisades, with underground/indoor parking, you are steps away from ski lifts, various shops and restaurants, and much, much more. From the balcony, you have an amazing view of the famous KT-22 and new gondola that will take you base-to-base to Alpine Meadows.

During the summer, you can experience the Via Ferrata tour which allows adventure seekers to scale the rocky peaks of Palisades Tahoe without any prior climbing experience. Don't want to scale the mountains, Shirley Canyon and Granite Chief Trailheads are also steps away. Bike Rentals are located in the Village and "across" the street. An easy seven miles away is Tahoe City (a ten minute drive), where you can tube down the Truckee River. Ten minutes in the other direction is Old Town Truckee. Truckee is well known for its ice harvesting, the Emigrant Trail, as well as for the tragic journey of the Donner Party. You can discover much more about their captivating story at Donner Memorial State Park museum and Pioneer Monument.

Winter or summer, you can take the Tram to the top of the Mountain and see amazing views of the valley. Also located at High Camp, The Olympic Museum, showcases Palisades Tahoe's unique collection of memorabilia, news articles, and video presentations detailing the many magical moments that took place at the 1960's Olympics.

This is the perfect location for an unforgettable vacation, any time of the year.
