Plover’s Nest is a wonderfully private, white sand beach oasis with spectacular panoramic views. Walk for miles to the north or south on the wide, white sand beach & explore the beautiful shoreline & natural wildlife. Enjoy panoramic views of the lake from the deck or screened-in porch, or find a cozy seat by the picture windows and survey the ever-changing scenery of the dunes and deep-water currents dancing with the winds.
Designed lovingly to be a healthy sanctuary, our home features low VOC build materials and local custom cabinetry. All furniture and mattresses feature GreenGuard Gold certification while linens and pillows are organic OEKOTEX or GOTS+ Made Safe Certified, to make your stay relaxing and worry-free.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights
All recyclables MUST go with you and be deposited in the Northport recycling center (open 24/7) next to the firehouse. An extra charge will apply if this is not done.
Shed door must be closed tight and chairs put back on the hooks.
Please start a regular load of towels in the upstairs washer before leaving
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

We are truly pleased to share with you the unparalleled views from our perch at Plover's Nest. On the deck or in the open living area, you will feel like you are standing on the prow of a cruise ship looking down at the beach and the blue/green twinkling waters of Lake Michigan. We are fortunate to have some of the best beachfront in all of Michigan. Make sure to bring what you need down to the beach, because once you are down there, you will want to enjoy it without distraction!
