Newly built single house with a incredible view of Georgetown and green belt, Update 2026 the view of green belt below has opened up with (estimated 5 miles) walking and bicycling path that our property has access to. bring your bike for this rental adventure This house sits on a bluff with front and back porches. Electric fireplace, large sectional couch, desk with wifi, flat TV's in living area and bedroom. Internet IS NOT for international service, within USA will be fine. wifi speed can be increased extra charge. Please note:no pets of any kind.
Guests to visit on request only. Please let us know, no over night additional guests.
kitchen has built-ins with lots of cabinet space, dishwasher, 2 place stove top, over the stove microwave, large new refrigerator with ice maker.
The space
Unique guest house that sits in a forest of persimmon and oak trees with a beautiful view of Georgetown and Southwestern university. The house overlooks a green lush meadow with two ponds. We have flower gardens, paths that are all private with wildlife.
Georgetown itself has lovely parks with two rivers flowing through and a downtown square for shopping, history and winery bar, breweries.
Guest access
There will be a park a couple blocks from us in near future but the San Gabriel park is 2 miles away, a beautiful park with paths, biking, golf disk. The river runs along the path which starts at lake Georgetown. There are several attractions in and around our town.

The Viewhouse was absolutely perfect for my wife and I to get away for the weekend. The house was lovely and very well furnished/decorated.Brian and Bernise were excellent hosts and their communication was top tier ensuring that we knew everything we needed to about finding and accessing the lovely property.The location is great because it is quiet and tucked away, while a short drive down the road takes you to anything that you might need including groceries, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. If you’re looking for a place to stay in the Georgetown area I can’t recommend The Viewhouse enough!

This was a nice, cozy little cottage style home that had absolutely everything you could need! The back porch was amazing to watch the sunset and it was very quiet- nested away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. Great communication and owners are close by for anything you might need! We loved the place. It was quiet and easy to get to downtown nearby. The bed was so comfortable and the view really was special. You can watch the sunset and great restaurants nearby. Host was very nice, WE recommend!

The location was off the beaten path but close to everthing. I enjoyed watching deer in the valley below every morning with my coffee. A very safe, secure and clean place to stay. Owners were on site and willing to help with our needs. Only negative thing i have to say is locating the road in the dark. After a couple of nights we found landmarks and had no issues. We will be staying here again on our next visit.

Just an outstanding place to stay! Highly recommended. I tried to contact the host before leaving but was unable to contact. I feel it’s unfair to restrict paying guests to check in so late in the day and checkout so early in the morning.

Quiet house with a view!

My husband and I loved this house and the view was fantastic. It's located on a private road, and the property has gated access. Very quiet, private, and clean. We met one of the owners and he was very nice and welcoming! Definitely recommend staying here 🤗

In a good location, overlooking hundreds of acres of green space, which we enjoyed for hours on the deck. The hosts were helpful with checkin and arrival instructions, and met us when we arrived, then offered privacy the rest of our stay. The cabin was cozy, clean and very comfortable.

The home was very clean with a gorgeous view!! The owners were very friendly and helpful with reccomendations. All of their reccommedations were excellent! Any questions were addressed immediately. This is great for a couples getaway. We had a wonerful time!!! We will definately stay here again when back in the area.

We had an amazing time staying at Jules Hideway. Bernise & Brian made the overall experience great! They were very communicative and went out of their way to try and help in anyway possible. The house was even better than the pictures. It was very clean and provided a great view of Georgetown. I would highly recommend staying at Jules Hideaway!

Georgetown Hideaway

This is a lovely place to get away from the traffic and relax on a quiet porch overlooking a greenbelt in historic Georgetown, TX. It's a perfect getaway for 2 with updated amenities and all the comforts of home. The owners are on prem and they are lovely. Don't waste your money on an expensive hotel when this place is available at the same price!

Relaxing Stay

We stayed 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The host was friendly, very accommodating and super responsive. The home was nice, clean and had everything we needed. The location was convenient to downtown and the Two Step Inn festival. We could even hear the festival from the back porch. The view from the back porch was pretty and so relaxing. The Wilson’s property is so nice and peaceful. I could go on and on.I definitely recommend and will stay again when back in the area. Georgetown and this property are so charming.

Awesome little quite out of the way stay.

No problems at all. Loved the place. Drank coffee on the porch, watching the deer walking by, ducks on the ponds (Bring your binoculars) and bunnies playing below. Wish I could've spent more time enjoying it.

Great view, wonderful hospitality

The place is so much prettier in person! It’s well appointed while also being a relaxing place. Minutes from any kind of fun, or you can just sit and enjoy the AMAZING view. We ended up with a broken down car, and Brian and Bernise could not be more helpful. They took us around, checked on us, brought us ice cream. They offered themselves in anyway needed and it was a blessing!

Why they chose this property

We purchased this property 2017 and built our home, garages, work shop and 2 guest houses on it with a short amount of time.

What makes this property unique

Its very peaceful with flower gardens and trees with paths on property. Nice decks for our guests to sit and enjoy thier outside time. Its a safe area but 2 miles to downtown square.
