Recht schöne Wohnung, schlechter Vermieter

Die Wohnung selbst ist relativ neu (Baujahr ca. 2021) und auch noch in ordentlichem Zustand. Leider nicht sehr gepflegt. Rund um das Gebäude wird aber noch viel gebaut, deshalb bereits am Morgen Baulärm. Der Vermieter Mousa ist nicht zu empfehlen. Er war vor der Anreise nicht erreichbar, es wurde weder auf Email, Telefonanrufe noch auf Whats-up geantwortet. Keine Information betr. Schlüsselübergabe vor der Anreise. Erst nach unserer Ankunft auf Madeira wurden wir kontaktiert und informiert, dass unsere gebuchte Wohnung (2 Schlafzimmer, 2 Badezimmer, Wohnzimmer) nicht verfügbar sei (angeblicher Wasserschaden). Wir erhielten eine viel kleinere Wohnung im selben Gebäude (1 Schlafzimmmer, 1 Badezimmer, Ausziehcouch im Wohnraum). Unser Sohn verbrachte die Ferien also auf dem Sofa. Wlan hat nicht funktioniert, wurde im Verlauf unseres Aufenthaltes jedoch repariert. Ebenso wurde der fehlende Föhn nach wiederholter Reklamation gebracht. Einrichtung der Wohnung sehr dürftig, es fehlen Küchengeräte wie Wasserkocher, Toaster, Küchentücher, Flaschen-/Dosenöffner etc. Ebenso gibt es keinerlei Putzmaterialien oder Putzmittel, ausser einem Besen. Waschmaschine und Abwaschmaschine sind vorhanden, Wäschetrockner nicht. Es ist ein Wäscheständer vorhanden, jedoch keine Wäscheklammern. Wir erhielten für den ganzen Ärger und die viel zu kleine Wohnung lediglich 150 Euro zurückerstattet. Madeira/Funchal jederzeit wieder, jedoch nie wieder Mousa.

Very nice appartment in very nice area

The appartment was big and comfy, everything was there, including a great pool. Near the old town of Funchal and close to the sea, good restaurants and shops! There was minimal communication with the agency and at check-in they let us wait quite some time. Coffeemachine didn’t work most of the time, but that was the only flaw.
