A great property for a large group. Our grandchildren referred to it for the rest of our travels as “the mansion.” Host was very responsive to questions and issues. We were there in the middle of the hottest weather Philly had seen in years and the air conditioning was working overtime and required some tweaking. As I say, owner was very responsive to the issue and sent an HVAC contractor to solve while we were touring. It was not an issue for us but the description might consider mentioning there are a lot stairs for those who might have issues. But, for our part, this offers a lot of privacy for families traveling together. Finally, it was super convenient to have the bus line only a block or two away from the home. Getting to the heart of the historic section took only minutes!
Nice place. Very responsive host. We really enjoyed ourselves. Your best bet for parking to just go to 860 N front as the host suggests.

The house had not been cleaned prior to arrival, the host responded quickly and had the house cleaned early the next morning before the remaining guests arrived.
Everything was wonderful. Just a hiccup in the TV but they were more than accommodating to the problem with expediency and outstanding customer service. We had a little problem with the heat but nothing major. Parking was very bad and dangerous for us driving an 16 passenger van and not knowing the city, but we were able to manage after the first day. Smile!
We stayed here while attending a conference in the area. It worked fabulous for us. We rented all areas of the home and we had plenty of privacy. The main floor with no bedrooms was amazing to have because people could sleep and the other staff still had somewhere to hang out. The house is a close walk to a ton of food, bars, and activities. The neighborhood was friendly and social. Don’t expect to find street parking is about the only downside.

In general we had a fine experience but there were several unexpected items that impacted the stay. - The physical space specifically the walls were more worn than the pictures presented.- We found two cockroaches on the premise.- One of the kitchen tables was broken.- There was damage to the molding of the stairs. - There was no patio/outdoor furniture even though the pictures showed outdoor furniture. That said the owner was communicative once I reached out about these issues. Not all the items were able to be remedied during our stay. My family and I decided to leave a day early.
Our group of six veterans gathered in town to bid farewell to one of our own. The house provided us with the necessary amenities and was situated in a convenient location, although its division into three separate units and sparse decor may not have made it the ideal choice for a family vacation. Nonetheless, it suited our needs and allowed us to communicate directly with the owner, resulting in a pleasant stay.

Needs Refurbishing!
Parking is a nightmare. It's on street parking, but most streets have a two hour limit. We were a party of seven of older women and had all three units which are on four floors. Fine for a younger crowd! The entry and several other areas need to be painted badly and furnishings are sparse. There is a lack of lamps, end tables and dressers. The kitchens are minimally stocked with mismatched plates, glasses, etc. All fabric furniture needs a good cleaning. Not up to par with other properties I have rented.
