This guest declined the taxi service offered by their concierge and used Uber. We can also book transportation for our guests in advance; all prices are clearly stated on our website. We regret to hear that you had a negative experience with our team, however, we would like to clarify the concerns you have brought to our attention. We charge a one-time fee for the Accidental Damage Waiver which covers normal wear and tear during your stay. We require a refundable security deposit for negligent damages. This is common practice across all direct booking platforms. All guests have access to their personal guest portal which has all the information necessary regarding your rental, including address, maps, and amenities. The rooftops of the buildings below the pool area of the condominium are visible in the photos. Since they are below, they do not obstruct the ocean view. There is a construction project across the street from Costco, about a quarter mile down the road. Noise is very minimal, as is the view of the workers if you can see any. The hurricane shutters are easily operated via remote control. One (1) of the motorized shutters was not working, however, it was manually operable. The request for our staff to lower it meant that they had to lower it before the storm arrived that night. We were not willing to risk our staff’s safety once the storm hit to return to the condo to lower it. It was as simple as pulling down the shutter. Hurricane Hillary passed Los Cabos as a category 4 hurricane, bringing heavy rain and wind. Lastly, this reservation was booked on VRBO by the guest. We cannot make any changes to venues that are booked on VRBO. Our agent Nik verified the booking information with the guest directly on the phone. The guest realized they had booked the wrong condo 11 days after we had already solidified the contract with the owner. Vista Velas 4101 condominium is one of many excellent places to stay in beautiful Los Cabos!
