Great getaway any time of year. Need a winter getaway for a change of scene or pace? We have you covered. Go ice fishing, snowmobiling, sliding, ice skating & just 45 minutes to Sugarloaf.
During the summer months come fishing, swimming, boating, golfing or attending Maine's oldest running summer theater, Lakewood, just yards away. When you rent for a week we provide 2 tickets to the show. Also, a high caliber restaurant is part of the attraction - eat dinner, enjoy the show, watch the sun set!
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Peaceful Stay

I was supposed to have several guests with me and due to extenuating circumstances I stayed alone here for 10 days. It was absolutely perfect and peaceful. This was my second stay and I hope to visit this property time and again whether i'm alone or with friends. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful spot.

Lovely lakeside cottage

This was really a wonderful stay from start to finish. I highly recommend it and would absolutely stay there again. The property is very cute and actually even the photos on the listing don't do it justice. It's RIGHT on the lake. You can walk down a few steps to the lake. The rooms are clean and functional, and the beds are quite comfortable. The location was excellent for what we were there for - an event at the Skowhegan Fair Grounds. The owners were easy to get in touch with and very friendly. We'll use this as our home base the next time we are up for our event for sure!

Great stay

This property exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful stay with plenty of space for our family. The views of the lake were beautiful, even in November. There is a nice yard for kids to play and explore. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they really thought of everything. It was very convenient having laundry onsite and we were easily able to cook meals with the provided kitchen supplies. It is also a quick drive to town for restaurants or groceries. The beds were super comfortable and we enjoyed the extra pillows and throws to stay cozy. My kids loved the games and movie collection. My son asked if we can stay here every time we come to Maine. We definitely hope to return!

Don’t forget the ROD!!!

Amazing place!! The pictures don’t capture this hidden Jen!!! They thought of it all and it feels like home…The Hot tub was great on my soar back!! So many places it relax!! Great deck to bbq!! Even caught a fish!!!Boats,fire pit, we did not use but they there to use!!! We were ona local work trip but it was great place for my wife and uncle to relax and perfect soak in the hot tub a juicy cheese burger off the grill while Alexa set the mood with some great music and cool lighting. Watch out for falling eggcorns! They are like missiles falling from the sky!!! One a one to Ten scale!!! Solid 8.5 Book now !!! You will ENJOY!
