In the winter, the fun continues: interested in ice fishing? Take your snowmobiles directly from the home onto the lake to hook right onto nearby trails.

Important Notes for Your Stay

Guests will have a remote Check-In, and we host remotely. We are always available but will leave you alone to enjoy your vacation. We do have a ring cameras at the entrance to the house for the safety of the house and our guests so we will know when you arrive.

*Weather/Cancellations*
In Maine, winter isn’t just a season—it’s an adventure! To navigate our snowy roads like a true Mainer, we highly recommend an all-wheel drive vehicle during the winter and spring months as our home is on a dirt road.

We cannot predict or control weather, so we don't offer refunds due to inclement weather. Please keep this in mind when booking, and if this is a concern we recommend purchasing travel insurance.


THINGS TO NOTE
* While we strive to keep the cabin spotless, you're on the lake in a wooded area in central Maine, where even our best efforts can't keep every curious critter away. You may spot an insect or two indoors. Consider them your cabin companions—here to complete the authentic lakeside experience!
* Please note we do have a well and our water is high in calcium, which may give a mineral taste to the water. It is safe to drink. We do have filter on our fridge.That said, we know everyone has their own taste preferences, so feel free to bring bottled if you prefer
* If, for any reason, the hot tub is unavailable during your stay, you’ll be eligible for a refund of up to $20 per day for each day the amenity is out of service.
*Hot Tub Rebalancing Fee: Our salt water system requires careful maintenance. A $500 fee will be charged for failure to follow these rules (including, but not limited to, using glass, introducing contaminants like soap/oils, or failure to secure the cover), which requires the water to be fully drained, cleaned, and chemically rebalanced before the next guest.
