Welcome, lake lovers! Get ready to experience the ultimate lakeside living at the "Shining Waters Lake House". This place is nothing short of spectacular with its panoramic views and fully renovated open-concept living room and kitchen space. The natural light flooding in from skylights, windows, and large sliders creates a warm and inviting ambiance. You'll have plenty of space to accommodate any size family, and once you settle in, you'll never want to leave!
As soon as you step into our luxurious cottage-style living room, with its warm wood walls and 270-degree views of Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline, you'll feel right at home. And the sunsets? They're downright magical! So kick back, relax, and enjoy the views from our luxurious leather recliners while your favorite tunes play on our cleverly disguised Sonos wifi speaker (Shh, pretend you also think it is a light!).
Our fully-equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up a delicious meal if you feel like cooking. But if not, don't worry - there are plenty of restaurants nearby(Why not, you deserve it!).
Feel like the royalty that you are in our king-sized master bedroom with a fully renovated en-suite that features stylish modern finishes. You will be hard pressed to decide whether to shower or just admire the brand-new stand-up shower! And the custom-made king-sized headboard and antique French provincial-style dressers and side table create a luxurious and unique space to have a staycation!
But the best news? We just rebuilt and renovated to make a second master bedroom, complete with a king bed, en-suite, and breathtaking lake views. With an antique barn door as a headboard on the unique feature wall, this master bedroom will feel like your own slice of heaven! The ensuite has an environmentally friendly, water-saving macerating toilet! (Every little bit helps!)
The first floor also features a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed complete with our pressure-relieving green tea-infused memory foam mattress for a good night's sleep.
The second floor has two large bedrooms, each with two queen beds, large closets, and a full bathroom. And if you're looking for a little bit of fun, check out our "coastal room" that's decked out in modern coastal decor - it's the perfect spot to get your "laketitude" on!
But let's not forget about the deck - it's where you'll want to spend most of your time! With plenty of seating and stunning lake views, it's the perfect spot to soak up the sun or watch the sunset. And the newly built stone fire pit and Adirondack chairs are perfect for cozying up on chilly nights. We've even added a new deck by the driveway and a pavilion.

* TV REMOTE *
The pixies seems to have special affinity for these remotes and they go missing all the time. We recommend RemoteNOW smart phone app which can be used to control the TV. The Hisense’s RemoteNOW app, your smartphone becomes an extension of your Hisense TV, functioning as an extra remote control, for the ultimate convenience and connectivity. The Hisense RemoteNow app is free to download from the GooglePlay and Apple App Store now.

1. Open app store on your smartphone and search for the “Remote Now” app.
2. After installing, connect your phone to the local WiFi network.
3. Launch the Remote Now app on your smartphone.
4. Pair Smartphone and TV by selecting the Hisense Smart TV that is detected by the app.
5. You will see a PIN on your TV screen.
6. Enter PIN on your phone and tap on the “Pair” button.

* OUTDOOR *
The Shining Waters lake house is on the lake shore and in the middle of a field. Be ready for some bugs. We don’t love them either but they sure love the lake as much as we do.
As with many homes on the lake, the unobstructed and amazing views are what you are coming for. That also means we don't have any fencing, so please use caution with the little ones, and maybe some of the big ones too ;)

* LANDSCAPING *
The landscapers will be working on lawn maintenance every Thursday (weather permitting). So if you are planning on lounging in the back yard, please take note.

* MAINTENANCE *
We renovated and updated everything we can. However, things do break and especially in a house with so much history. We will do everything to address any appliance breaking down, any water leaks and any other issues that come about as quickly as possible.
