We had a wonderful stay at the lakeside retreat. The setting was peaceful and beautiful, with stunning views of the water that made it easy to relax and unwind. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed for a great getaway. We especially loved spending time in the hot tub—it really made the experience feel special. Overall, it was a perfect escape, and we would absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!
We had a great weekend stay at this cottage. The accommodations were very clean and well kept. The hot tub was a really nice bonus and made the trip even more relaxing. The place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely come back!
Host was great and easy to reach and amenities in the cottage were very modern. Cottage was very clean, spacious and very cozy Hot tub on rear deck was fantastic.
We loved this place! The view of the lake and peaceful atmosphere was very relaxing. We had lovely ducks come up to visit. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We are only sorry we could not have stayed longer!
Very nice and quiet. If you're looking for a weekend getaway, this is the place. Boys weekend was a great success. Excellent views, beautiful part of the province.
What a property! The stunning views, the relaxed environment, the easy communication with the host.. it was a trip to remember! The property was exactly what we were looking for, for my mother in her 60’s to us in our 30’s and our 2 year old son.. this place provided! The hot tub was such a bonus. Thank you for such a lovely stay. It showed such Nova Scotia charm!
Thank you so much to Brendan for keeping this property so clean and stocked. Appreciated the moderness with the rustic vibes. Would love to try and come back in the summer.
This Lakeside retreat was perfect! Just what my family of 4 needed. We enjoyed looking out at the lake and swimming and fishing. Hot tub was a great activity at night. Campfires over looking the lake and watching the sunset. The house is very clean and comfy for a family of 4. The owner was very responsive. We also enjoyed going off on adventures in the area, wineries, Halifax, Mahone Bay and the local meat market Oulton's. A must to visit if you love animals. They have all kinds of exotic cool animals. This was our first time in Nova Scotia and will definitely be back.
Our family had a great time during our stay! It was a nice place to take the kids during March break, with Martock being so close.
The hot tub was a hit and the cottage was warm and cozy, bonus points for the lake view. Can’t wait to book again and enjoy the summer months.
An absolutely wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. The kitchen has everything you need and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed swimming and kayaking, lounging in the hot tub, stargazing and cozy campfires at night. Neighbours are very quiet.
Very comfortable cabin with everything we needed! We loved how clean it was, how nice the pillows and beds were, the wireless phone chargers that were in each room, and the beautiful sunsets on the lake! We found all of the implements we needed to cook in the kitchen and really appreciated the great communication from the host! We will definitely be back!
Can't say enough about this location or Brendan! The cottage was spotless and absolutely gorgeous!! Everything you could possibly need for the weekend was available in the cottage. Brendan was excellent to communicate with and very accommodating! We will definitely be booking again!!
Amazing views and great place too stay. Loved the amount of amenities. Kayaks were amazing!!!!!! Hot tub was great but was a little dirty with sand. Everythjng else was incredible!!
We spent a few days with our dog. The cottage is great and location perfect to visit surrounding. The resort is calm and neirbhours are quiet. Although it is to notice that the houses are very close one to another and they all have their dogs too. I would recommend with no hesitation!
Beautiful property and excellent accommodations. However, we could not get the Pellet fire to work. Hopefully this issue is resolved before the next guests.
We spent a few days here and enjoyed every minute of it. From kayaking on the lake to swimming, enjoying a fire and reading on the dock in the early morning with a great cup of tea. It was really peaceful. Not to mention relaxing in the hot tub. It was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. The cottage offered everything we needed plus more. I would totally book this cottage again.

Beautiful location. Nicely appointed cabin although much smaller than expected.
Cleanliness a bit of an issue, but reported to host. We had an issue with lack of WIFI so no TV.
Hot tub was beautiful and clean. Grounds clean. Would be beautiful in Summer, right on the lake front.
We did enjoy our stay.

Marnie I wish you would have brought these items to my attention during their stay as I would have been able to assist with the Wifi and TV as they were both working fine throughout your stay. I also would have arranged for the cleaner to drop by to address the other issues. I can't fix what I don't know about. Sorry the cabin size wasn't what you expected but I think the photos give a pretty accurate depiction of the property.
The pictures and listing truly do not do this property justice! When we arrived the sun was setting over Falls Lake & everything was bathed in orange light ☀️🧡 It was stunning! It's a semi remote location but very quiet and peaceful and also a great central spot for day trips through Nova Scotia including Wolfville, Peggy's Cove & Windsor. The bed was very comfortable, the house stocked with everything you need & the amenities including washer/dryer, fire pit, hot tub, grill etc were all great!
