Owner interaction was excellent in planning the trip. Thank you for the nice welcome basket of goodies. The toys were great for the children. Overall the stay was very nice.
The property was nice and the house was just as it was listed. The property owners left us a nice welcome gift and were very easy to communicate with! We will definitely stay here again!
Absolutely wonderful stay, great house and close to grocery store and restaurants!! Rained a couple times, but enjoyed the ping pong table and that HUGE deck overlooking the water!!! Deer and wildlife everywhere!!
My extended family is growing with lots of kids and this location was perfect to fit us all, and had toys and the space to accommodate us comfortably. We loved the private dock and access to the kayaks! It made our stay so much fun and we can't wait to return!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brooke and Red’s beautifully equipped home. Plenty of space with all the comforts of home. Great amenities for all ages. Thank you!
This property is a truly unique and special place. The location right on the lake is perfect, the home is cozy and has everything you would need, the beds are very comfortable, and the decor is so well done! The toys in the basement room, and all the games were very much appreciated by our daughter! The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Clarksville.
As grandparents in charge of 3 grandsons during their parents European vacation, we were looking for a short-term stay on the water. This place was as advertised. Easy to get to. Very clean and stocked with everything we needed. Rented a pontoon boat nearby and docked at the cottage for 4 days. Fun on the water.
We traveled for blue ridge rock festival '23... the festival was an absolute fiasco but this rental was perfect for our group. We had everything we needed. Thank you.
The house was as described. It was clean and decorated very nicely. The grandsons enjoyed the game room in the garage and the kayaks. We were able to put our boat in easily and keep it at the dock while we were there. Sitting around the fire pit was a great place to enjoy our evenings.
Nice property on a quiet cove in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely recommend it. Only downside is the trees and narrow road made parking a trailered boat somewhat treacherous. We made it work but it would be difficult for many.
Location is superb for a quiet relaxing environment. The owners quickly answer questions and greets you with a basket of goodies. Great open space for kitchen and living room and a great dining room. Living room furniture is dated and soiled and in need of upgrade. Bottom level needs a bathroom and steps going downstairs are a little steep. Cleanliness is adequate but a little more attention would be great.

We are so glad you had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed the location and the house. Please note that our decor and furnishings are intentionally “dated” in a “Europe-cottage” aesthetic. All of our furnishings are depicted in our photos.
Many of our guests really gush over the antique and vintage English Country and French Country details we have throughout our house, which we named “Kerr Castle” based on the interior design style and theme of the house. We love offering the only European Cottage-inspired property on Kerr Lake! :)
My family stayed at this lovely house during a trip to Clarksville to visit my grandmother for her birthday. The house very comfortably fit our group of 8 adults and 4 kids (ages 0-5). The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-stocked. The welcome basket of cookies, coffee pods, and wine was very much appreciated! The playroom downstairs was so helpful with the kids and my brothers and dad played several rounds of ping pong in the garage. Our only regret was that we were not there in the summer to enjoy the outdoors! Brooke was responsive and friendly. Would highly recommend staying at this house when visiting Clarksville!
The first impression was not that great. The front porch was very unkept with lots of spider webs, and the back deck was not clean either. The chairs were really dirty, but could be cleaned. The interior of the house was clean and welcoming. There were lots of toys for the children, which were nice and kept them occupied. The kitchen was well stocked, which made cooking meals nice. The owners are great and very responsive!! The boat dock needs work and could be dangerous for someone not steady on their feet.
We were a family with adult children and partners. It was a perfect spot for relaxation. As the college kid described it, it is stupid quiet! Plenty of wildlife including deer and fox. We rented a pontoon boat overnight and were able to tie it at the dock overnight. We used the 2 fishing poles in the shed and could have had a fish fry with the amount of fish we caught. It is a wonderful area to walk on the roads with low traffic and lots to see.
We enjoyed our week long stay - three generations including six adults and three children under 5. The house was well-stocked and there was plenty of room for everyone, including a basement play area with lots of age-appropriate toys for the kids. Nice neighborhood for walking and running. The cove was well protected and we kept a tritoon boat at the dock. There was no real beach and no ladder on the dock so getting in and out of the water wasn't very convenient although this didn't keep anyone from swimming. Wearing water shoes helped.
There were 8 family members that stayed here as we traveled in for my daughter's wedding. The layout of the house was perfect and very roomy that allowed us to spread out and made getting ready on the wedding day a breeze. Upon arrival, the house was clean for the most part. The front porch could use a good cleaning. The stairs to the basement are very steep and the overhand is low. The first day, someone hit their head going down the stairs. I would recommend a sign to warn people. Overall the hose was lovely and we had a great time. One suggestion- Splurge a little on the toilet paper.
